127 Hours - 7/10

Hm... Not really much to say about this. Sure, the story line was great and interesting, but as a movie and how it was directed, I didn't think it was as great as they hyped it up to be.

not actually Fiona Apple
I think these are all the movies I've watched

Brideshead Revisited (2008) - 4/10
I made the mistake of reading the book first , which is infinitely better. I actually wrote a paper about how bad they screwed up the movie...easiest A+ I ever got.

When Harry Met Sally - 9/10
Awww...Haha...Awwww

The Other Guys - 7/10
I'd watch it again, but I think it could have been better

Easy A - 7/10
In spite of the fact that I could not relate to any part of this movie, I enjoyed a lot more than I thought I would. Smarter than I thought it would be

Life in a Day - 11/10!!!!!

This may just be the greatest film I've ever seen!! It was soooooooo beautiful, I was crying the whole way through! You may have heard of it. Last year they asked people from all over the world to film their lives for one day, 24th July 2010, then send the clips in so that they could merge them into one film. And what they've ended up with is this incredible celebration and capture of the beauty of ordinary human beings and ordinary life. I feel like my whole life has been put in perspective and many of the things I felt ashamed about I suddenly feel incredibly proud about, and vice versa. I must say, I felt a little embarrassed to be a westener watching this film, we didn't come off well. There's definitely something wrong in the west. When you've got too much wealth and nothing to fight for, our human nature tends to force itself out in unnatural, disingenuous ways. But some of the film was really eye-opening. It was so inspiring that I'm gonna cancel all my plans today and go and visit my mum, then take a quiet walk around the lake to digest some of these new thoughts I'm having! :)

I'm also left with a huge desire to film my own life now, so it wouldn't surprise me if there's a Life in a Day 2 & 3 & 4 etc. I feel like if they continue making these films every year or two, they could become a seriously massive global treasure.

My family and I have been streaming Netflix this weekend since it won't stop raining. We watched Howard the Duck, which is truly awful (almost in a campy way). I remember liking it as a child, but as with most things, I was wrong. Wrong, wrong, wrong. I'll give it a 2/10 for old time's sake.

My sister and I watched a German movie called 7 Zwerge, or 7 Dwarfs. It's a Monty Python-esque take on Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, where the dwarfs are living in seclusion because they don't like women. Enter Snow White, and awesomeness ensues. Netflix only gives it 2 stars, but I loved it. 9/10 Hey Zwerge, hey Zwerge, hey Zwerge, ho! will be stuck in my head for a while.

X-Men First Class - 9/10.

Man oh man was this movie good. I wasn't expecting too much based on the other movies in the series (they're not bad, but could have been better), but did this deliver. Amazing. Wolverine made a funny cameo as well ::p:

I Am Number Four - 7/10

Although the story's kinda predictable and there are some questions that's still to be answered, I think it's overall entertaining. I love the australian actor playing as the sidekick, he's so adorable. ;)

It wasn't my choice to watch this. It was pretty stupid, but some parts had me laughing

Last movie I watched, too! I give it 6/10. It was ok. I've learned not to expect too much from movies nowadays. If it was entertaining for the 1 1/2 to 2 hours that I watched it, that's good enough. I do love the romance genre though. I'm a hopeless romantic, what can I say, but watching those types of movies only makes life harder when you're lonely ::(:

Hangover 2 - 8/10

Watched it with my friends last weekend and we cracked up!! I didn't think it was as funny as the first one though. It just felt lacking in some aspects. No surprise there - sequels are rarely comparable to the original.

The swedish original of Let te right one in.
I had a dub version with terrible voice-acting, I mean it was really poor, no emotion in the dialogue. The film however, was very good. I feel it left a bit bit too much out from the book though. I know some parts would have been too graphic but some of the storyline would have been confusing if you hadn't read the book beforehand. Also some parts had been changed for no good reason I could find and Oskar wasn't developed enough as charcter. Some people were absent altogether.Still, lovely settings and plenty of creepiness. 8/1O

The other guys
Quite disappointing, a few well done action scenes but not enough funny bits. I just felt that it dragged along and couldn't wait for the end. 4/10

The next 3 days
Really boring film were Russel Crowe ****s up attempts to rescue his wife from prison. 2/10
