Someone said no-one likes me. I am not asking to be liked. I don't mind as long as people keep it to themselves. People can think what they like as long I can find some peace somewhere away from it.

Though with age I have started to think....

What if the "shit" that the system dictates we "should" be doing in our lives - that all of its inhabitants are obligated to achieve - is only a load of manipulated, BS propaganda.
And it is only enforced on everyone for the sole benefit of those who make the rules we all are supposed to live by?

So this "shit" that we are brought up believing is the be all and end all, of what our lives should end up as.....WHY is there a "one size fits all" expectation on every person, when we are all born with different personalities and natures?

What if the "shit" we are forced to "get together" is screwed up.
What if we are just examples of the normal variations that nature has created as part of of the whole human race.
Our "variation" just doesn't happen to "fit" into the very selective, narrow idea of what everyone should aspire to.

Why should the multiple, different human "shapes" have to mould themselves to fit inside the one, "round hole"?

It's simply not fair for all of us that are not born "round".

I don't know, I know I'm not happy and I gotta change that.

D'you think how you were raised factors into it? But, yeah, I'd say self-imposed for the most part.
Yeah, I think you're right too. Pit bulls, for example, are one of nature's most aggressive dog breeds but if they grow up in a loving family then they become really gentle animals. It's the same for humans.

Christianity has been around for about 2,000 years. People have persecuted and murdered christians COUNTLESS times in history and yet its still here. Opposing factions have tried to destroy christianity throughout the years but its still going strong. Its literally EVERYwhere. Time itself is based on the birth and death of Jesus (B.C. -Before Christ A.D. -After death), not to mention the gregorian calendar and if you walk down just about ANY sidewalk for long enough you'll eventually se a street name , hospital, or other building based on christianity .

And those are just a few examples.

Christianity is so engrained into western civilization that you cant get rid of it. It even lasted through the bubonic plague when around 50% of europe's population was wiped out. It lasted through the fall of Rome AND through the french revolution also. It will remain constant meanwhile trends and fads will come and go. God was here at the beginning and he will still be here at the end, whether people chose to believe it or not.

There literally nothing that can be done to christianity ( as a whole) that opposing factions havent already tried to do. I mean if the whole planet were to suddenly explode then that might do it but other than that. lol

You want to know how I got these scars?
I read yesterday that 70% of young people in England are non religious. More than ever.

Many civilized nations are growing out of the fear and control of religion, slowly but surely.

The more educated you are, the less likely you and your children are to be religious. Fact.

We as a species have a lot to look forward to if we can put our brains to good use and move forward, instead of staying in the dark.

Im pretty sure theres a huge margin of error to that because both my parents have masters degrees as do their parents before them and we're all religious.

and I also know a lot of other people around here who have been religious for generations (all the way back to when their ancestors came here from Europe) that also are quite intelligent and doing well for themselves . One of them is a doctor actually.

In general though, people have been saying that christianity is on its way out for hundreds of years . People have even tried to basically SNUFF it out......

......STILL here.

and continuing to push forward.

Thank goodness for cough medicine, otherwise I would've lost my mind with this cold.

Being sick is one thing, not sleeping is another, but being sick and not sleeping will turn you into a maniac.

Yeah, being physically sick/lacking sleep on top of all the other daily pressures of life can bring you close to breaking point, for sure.
I hope your immune system can get rid of it as soon as possible, Fountain.

I was looking at photographs online of pairs and groups of friends that have been friends for most of their lives. They had taken photos of themselves later in life that are very similar to one taken when they were friends 10, 20, 30, and some even 40 years earlier etc.
My heart cried. I hate how my anxiety killed the few good friendships I had when I was a young child and teenager. I miss them very much.

educated in what way? i'm religious but i don't call it that way. i call it the truth, the living truth. i believe in God and that He is light and the devil is the darkness, there r two forces at work, when i look around and see the nature and feel the wind all go in a organized and systematic way for us i believe there's a God, indirect evidence is also solid evidence. The things provided to you if you saw a television in your house and you didn't get it you know that someone else got it right? i wrote this before but then deleted it as no one responded to it anyway. i also believe in God bc i know sincere pastors who have testimonies from God/lord Jesus and his direction and i believe that God gave us a book of direction.
