The first Superbowl I've skipped since I was ten years old and it's the greatest one in history.

Yep, that fits the pattern.

I kinda wish I would have tuned in too.
I could have used a good come-back story right about now.

Is it not the same for you to watch it later?

I used to watch for the commercials being that I am not a huge sports fan. I saw they got pretty political this yr and people are even boycotting Budweiser because of their pro-immigration stance. Someone told me they don't even brew it in the US anymore anyways-a Swiss company bought them. Tastes awful anyways.

The NFL has a ton of games on YouTube, just type in "free game Friday". This past super bowl will be uploaded eventually more likely than not. You didn't miss a whole lot with the commercials. Every super bowl the commercials get less and less humourous because companies are terrified of "offending" someone and suffering a P.R. disaster.

Thanks guys, part of the reason I skipped the game was because of the political stuff, I hate celebrities and commentators who feel obliged to ram their views and ideas down my throat. You're right about the commercials too, now it's mostly just movie trailers and bland, uninspired advertisements pandering to crybaby malcontents and the easily offended.

I am fearful of the town I live in, frightened to the point of paranoia, but it is all I know. I dream of making an escape to a peaceful place but fear I won't live to see it, or be well enough to enjoy it when I finally get there.

I can relate, Kiwong. Expect I don't fear the town I live in, ah f**kin' hate it! Nonetheless, I hope you make that dream a reality and move to a more peaceful place, someday.

I worked on one of my grandfather's houses today, and... it... was... a... nightmare. The two "ladies" who are renting the house wouldn't leave the room I was in; they just sat on the couch listening to music the whole time I was there. It was completely nerve-racking, I wanted to look at them and say - "Can't you just go to another room for ten minutes? Good grief!" They were three feet behind me, scrutinizing every move I made; I turned around once to grab a screwdriver and both of them were giving me the fishy eye.

I ended-up botching the job because of it and now someone will probably have to go in behind me and fix what I screwed-up. If they could've just been decent people and given me a little bit of time and a little bit of elbow room, none of this would have happened. But nooooooooooooo, they had to sit there like two frogs listening to Rick James while I was working on their windows. Ha ha.
