Thinking about buying some flowers for myself tomorrow....erm or make a boutique of my own. Yeah that sounds good...

I dislike posts on the site that label "younger members" of the site as a separate group of people. It's just annoying when younger people are treated as less mature than older people, I know on face value a 50 year old is bound to be more mature than a 16 year old, but that's quite a shallow view on the world

Every one around me is always is bad mood.

Nobody is fun..

They really put a damper on my day when I feel happy/energetic.

I know how you feel , not everyone has a sense of humor , some people like to dwell in their negative emotions , don't let yourself get affected , i'm sure you have your bad days too ,

i also try to make people laugh and smile , that is what makes me happy , but don't try too hard , don't get mad at people for being in an opposite mood , just keep that positive energy to yourself.

Have not been feeling all that great lately. Irritable, frustrated, sad, angry, lonely. Blahhhh. I don't know what sets these states of mind off. I suspect being on the computer adds to it, because I often come on here looking for people to talk to and these days I don't find very many ::(:

I either need to start conversations with new people (because I guess the old ones don't care any more), or just stay off the damn computer.

As you know, I used to be that way a lot. We're hoping that some great magical interaction will spawn out of nothing, but between two people who have literally said every single thing they can, it does take two to make it work.

Humans like new things, it gives us a chance to relieve that sort of fresh feeling we get from meeting someone new, with all their thoughts, all their history, all the things they know that we don't and we can learn from them and maybe *hopefully* they aren't as flawed as all of those who were in their place before. You still reach the same conclusion though. You still get to that year later when everything is said, everything is done, and what's left?

I guess my overall point is this, and this goes for everyone, you have to appeal to your audience, whatever audience you have. If you're friends with a cheerful person, be slightly more cheerful than you are. If you're friends with a deep person, then be deeper than you. This can apply in a lot of cases. It just takes perseverance and the interest.

Oh and one more thing. It's not that the old friends don't care...... they just might be in the same place as you.

Two seemingly related things: yesterday at work a lady complimented me on my skin complexion; she was quite ecstatic about it :p Also, I noticed that lately I haven't been getting any breakouts! I've never had bad acne, but I've always usually had a few trouble spots here and there on my face. It was like a cycle: one group disappeared and another popped up a week later.

But lately I've only had very small ones that go away in about a day or two. I recently switched my face wash, and I've also been a lot less stressed out lately. I wonder if it's one of those factors or a combination? Or perhaps my body is officially over that phase now? I don't know, but I hope it stays this way :D

I'm fed up with being a doormat

Your ex making you feel that way or somebody else? Hope you're ok, Simpy :)

Well I was meant to be meeting somebody for the first time tomorrow but they called me earlier for the first time and since then haven't replied to my message asking them if they still want to meet up. I think my lack of phone skills have caused this, but seriously, I hate hate hate phone conversations unless its with family or my closest friends. I don't mind little brief chats, and I don't mind longer chats either, provided I have some forewarning so that I can arrange my day etc (I'm a rubbish woman, I can't multitask). I don't understand how people can spend hours and hours on the phone. Though in fairness, they probably don't understand how I can spend hours and hours on the internet ;)
