I just realized in how bad a taste the Titanic movie was, now that I think about it.
I mean, A LOT of people drowned and lost their life that day, yet the movie focuses on some cliché love story for the most part. Especially considering it made over a billion dollars worldwide. At what point does it stop being ''creativity in the entertainment industry'' and start becoming leeching on a tragic happening?
It was a bad movie but I disagree about the other... drama has "leeched" off fictional or real "tragic" events all the time. From time of Ancient Greece to Hollywood. If enough distance/time has passed, it'll be written about. If it's done well or a love story within all that I have no problem ... but Titanic wasn't done well or overrated so I quite agree there.
And yes Coyote got the best part about it right
