I'm not sure some people understand that the way to make someone feel welcome isn't to treat them as if they're somehow different from everyone else, praising them for their massive courage in facing the downsides literally everyone there faces: *******s.

The people who make me feel least included are those who try the hardest. I'll take a group of guys who care nothing about how I feel as long as they're not rude to me over a group that's eager to show how not-sexist they are any day.

Or maybe women typically love that and I have no idea how anyone feels. Who knows these days.

There are few things I enjoy more than singing - it literally feels physically good to sing. It's like a high. I wonder if all singers feel that way? Something about creating something with your voice, putting the energy out... magical. Which sounds kind of hokey but is so true.

But you know, it's really ****ing hard to sing some songs with just the instrumental part to follow along with - sometimes its hard to figure out the timing if the lyrics are syncopated or something.

Post a recording of you singing. Thanks.

You first!

I possibly would, but I've tried recording it before and shitty phone and laptop mics make you sound bad even if you have a decent in-person singing voice. I'd really like some actual voice recording software, whatever that would be.

Tech/gaming.

Ahh. I've noticed that on some gaming forums, women are rare and a lot of men behave foolishly around them. Trying to impress them or curry favor; even being mean to each other in competition for their attention and approval. The woman is given a default high value as a person just for having a wagina to the point where it's often overlooked when she's being childish or posts stuff that male posters would be torn apart for.

I've known some women to relish this and drink it up--doing all they can to encourage this behavior and acting like royalty within that community.

All of this behavior annoys me.

I hope that's not what you're facing.

Yeah, I've seen that, too, but it's not what's happening.

I tend to fly under the radar because I'm not openly feminine most of the time outside of playing a female avatar in games. It's my guy friend in FFXIV who gets random players using custom emotes to "vigorously grope" him and dash off.

I play with a small group and don't really talk to people outside of it. Once in awhile elsewhere I'll cross people who are just so impressed with my interests/field of study and can't imagine what it's like for a girl or really respect what I'm doing. Like I'm a brain surgeon for disabled werewolf children in Africa or something.

I know it's not malicious, but it's still annoying.

I don't like long vacations. I feel like I should be doing something, but I end up playing video games for way too long. Today I just went to the gym, had dinner with my dad, watched youtube videos and played video games. I could have practised drawing or studied some new subject but nope, just video games.

I couldn't get up the courage to go a job interview today. I am telling myself its because my funds are low but its really because I went on an interview yesterday and it didn't go well. I feel like a loser for passing up an opportunity but I couldn't do it a second time back to back. I never used to be like this

I have a pile of chemistry I can't seem to get through. I keep losing motivation. I do a couple problems, then get stuck, then set it aside for another hour or so and go back into it again. Rinse and repeat.

I really hate not being good at chemistry. It's so fascinating, but the math... agh! It's so frustrating.

(Supposedly INTJ's are math geniuses, but this one is terrible.)
