My cousin had all of his landscaping equipment stolen the other night, and he wasn't even insured. He's out thousands of dollars and he's not exactly Donald Trump.

Flash player has had a meltdown recently. In fact, my Firefox was completely rejecting it for a while there.

Regarding Firefox, I don't think the problem was just flash player, the problem was whoever was setting outdated versions to be unsafe (putting it in the blocklist). They were doing it almost everyday because Flash was updating it, but it got to a point where even the most recent update was considered outdated.

Here's the thread: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1182751

Someone was feeling the same way I did:
Are you insane?
Why did you block the latest flash Version when no newer version is available. Its in a loop right now and FF keep asking every one to update flash player and once it get updated, it asked again since no newer version is available at this moment

Though if you read the thread, it seems like what they did is justified. They should have handled it differently though, it was very confusing to the common user what was going on.

It keeps happening that when a new good looking guy appear in my surrounding people say he and me would make such a cute couple, and it's always with people way too good-looking for me, and I don't understand why my friends/co-workers don't realize how awkward it is. Especially when they do this and we're both there. Other than being extremely awkward, it makes me feel bad for the cute guy.

I said this exact thing to my uncle earlier this week. They handled this all wrong. But I'm seeing more shit like this in the IT world. Things are getting too lax and loose.

Windows 10 should be a real treat!

You're attractive yourself that's why your friends/coworkers say that.

just ordered a pizza, only designated myself to have 1 slice tonight and 2 tomorrow if I wanna stay on track with my diet.
I am sure I am breaking some sort of unwritten pizza law whereby if you buy takeout you gotta at least eat the majority of it.

Oh yeah, family size all for me, hubby and my 2 kids. Majority goes to me of course

That one Alien scene comes to mind.

If you listen to either one with your eyes closed you probably couldn't tell them apart.

I was watching The Incredible Hulk TV show when I was a kid, and there was a scene where Banner was delivering a woman's baby in the back of a car, well my mom came home from grocery shopping, overheard the show, and freaked out because she thought I'd got into my dad's "secret" prawn stash.

Some people seriously still believe the earth is flat? or are they being massive trolls?

I've heard of those people before. From what I recall, they're on par with conspiracy theorists who rejects the data/pictures because it conflicts with their personal perception of the world.

I generally try to be respectful to everyone's faith and perceptions, but that's a silly stretch even to me.

I think the problem is most people in IT don't know how to behave towards a customer. If you go to a normal store, there are always employees asking if you need help to find something. If you ask something that is not presented in the store, they go check in the back.

I went to a small IT-related store and their service was really bad. They didn't try to help me find a product, they told me to look for it in their website in the computer they had in the store and come back with the reference. This computer was being used and I ended up waiting 20 minutes for a 1 minute search. They could've used their own computers to do the search for me, but they didn't care. It's like they don't know how to interact with a customer.
