I'm really pale so it's very obvious and I have seen a friend's reaction to me when I blushed, she looked freaked out. Not much of a friend I guess.
Blushing is embarrassing because you feel exposed.

Agreed. It seems the only thing to do about it is just to muscle through it when it comes up and try not to let it bother you too much. That's all I do about it. If there's a better way, please advise.

Perhaps you could get a kitten and a bear, or a badger and a mouse, as pets, and you could refer to them collectively as "kittenbear" or "badgermouse" respectively.

My sister's cats joined us about a week ago because my sister has moved back home. They liked me immediately and every time I walk in the room they're both curled up on my bed and they sleep there all night. Thing is, I haven't been overly friendly to them and they annoy me - I push them off the bed a lot but they just keep jumping back on and rubbing against me. Reminds me of someone I knew who would never take the hint I didn't like him.
You know what you could try to keep them off your bed? For about a week or so (longer if necessary) cover a sizeable area of your bed with a duvet of tapped together sheet of aluminium foil.
Cats don't like the feeling or sound when standing on it, so it's good passive way to keep them off things.
Sooner or later they'll stop trying and find a new spot to sleep.

I have no idea what I would have done if he'd said it..I think I would have pinched myself to see if I was dreaming.. I'm so glad he didn't though because I hate having to tell him off (which is hardly ever thankfully) :bigsmile:

I still need to get adapted to my new loose schedule, but so far it is going well. I'm already done with everything I had planned to do today and now I have 5 hours of free time ahead of me. I'm trying to wake up and do all of my studying in the morning so that I can go out in the afternoon and take care of shopping and other stuff that can only be done during the day. This schedule will also be helpful for the next 2 years if I get accepted to a master's degree, since classes will be in the evening and I should probably rest between studying and attending classes.

I'm trying to make having long air actually WORK for me without it looking gay...its not easy...but I don't exactly look like that guy from Game of thrones so its somewhat of a problem -_-....I really don't want to go back to having a buzz cut though....so if having long hair doesn't work out then i'll just have to go to a hair cutting place and get some type of hairstyle...and maybe it'll be like that scene in Selena where they're cutting the guys hair and he's playing guitar like a badass and they're like "omg he's such a dreamboat!!"

All I hear about making friends is finding people who share the same hobbies you do. I only have one major hobby and the only people I see that share it act like 13 year old teenagers. I know there are some like me, but they keep to themselves just like I do, making it nearly impossible to find them. Only way to do so is by pure chance.
