I can't believe how many ads I've seen for Asian dating on this site. Just today I got about 5 different sites trying to hook western guys up with Chinese or Thais or Koreans. I really have to wonder what it is I'm writing about that's making this happen.

The other day I actually got one for transsexual dating.

I'll never understand why How I Met Your Mother and Colbert Report take so many breaks. The only other american show I'm watching right now is The Walking Dead so I don't know if most american shows are like this, but it's annoying.

Oh, I wasn't talking about commercial breaks. I was talking about how HIMYM supposedly airs one episode each week but they're always taking breaks (2 week break right now), and the Colbert Report supposedly airs every Monday through Thursday but they're also taking breaks all the time (last aired show was last week's Wednesday for example). Right now might be because of the Olympic games (I don't know how much coverage they give it, but it's zero over here), but a lot of times there's no justification.

The weather is the warmest it's been all season, at around 40 degrees F. I actually went out with only a t-shirt and a hoodie. Feels great not to have to wear a jacket and scarf and gloves.

I applied for a part-time job at a diner today. It seems somewhat promising, but I'd like to not get my hopes up. I feel like sleeping the rest of the day away, but I really should make this a productive day while I'm at it.

I'm thinking of buying two volumes of manga in spanish. I never really learned spanish, but it's similar to portuguese and I grew up watching cartoons dubbed in spanish (with portuguese subtitles). I wonder if I'll be able to understand what I read. I think that if I read it out loud I can understand most of it, maybe I'll have to look up some words.

It's mostly for collection purposes though, I already read it in english.
