Took a vaccine for the first time in 10 years. My sister went before me and she screamed. At that moment I started thinking it was going to hurt, but I barely felt it. Looks like I completed a goal I had since I was a child: not feel any pain when taking a vaccine.

Anyway, how much does a bee sting hurt compared to a vaccine? I've never been stung by a bee.

a vaccine is nothing compared to the pain of a bee sting. a bee stinger has venom designed for the purpose of extreme pain whereas a vaccine is an expected, miniscule pinpr!ck. your sister is a giant wuss.

Damn, and here I thought I could stop paying attention to bees now that a vaccine was nothing for me.

The actual poke of a vaccine is not as bad as a bee sting, as long as you are relaxed and don't tense up your muscles right before. Some vaccines, however, can cause muscle soreness for days afterward. I'm just glad I don't have to get a tetanus shot for another nine years. Yowch.

I guess I had a rough night. Woke up to find half my blankets on the floor, and I was dead tired. I remember dreaming about summertime, standing in my garden watering flowers while my neighbors walked by and chatted with each other. The next dream I had I yelled at my sister and told her I hated her and physically attacked her. This dream morphed into one where I was sitting on a beach on a warm day letting the waves wash over me.
Makes sense, I guess? :idontknow:

I can't sleep, but I'm tired. Makes no sense. I fell asleep 2:00 at night yesterday and woke up 9:00 in the morning, and I never sleep during the day, and yet I can't sleep.

I really enjoy reading other people's book reviews on Goodreads.com. I have to say, though, that some of them have given me a different perspective on novels I really liked and caused me to question the reasons I liked them. It seems some of them may not be the literary masterpieces I thought they were. Oh well, that doesn't mean I can't enjoy less-than-perfect writing.

Except, of course, Fifty Shades of Grey. I haven't even read it but I can already tell there is just no reason to like that book :p

Last night I dreamed I had an adulthood confrontation with my sixth grade teacher and told him he was the worst teacher I had ever had. It was really satisfying because I was totally cool about it and was really upfront and there was no emotional charge. But then he sort of knew he was a bad teacher, which in turn led to me realizing that he had pretty much wasted his whole life doing something he knew he wasn't good at without even trying to get better.

I woke up feeling really refreshed... I think it was a really deep sleep.

Brilliant, dreams are probably the best therapists at times.

I can't get the smell of soup out of my apartment and it's driving me crazy! I really thought the Soup Maker was the most incredible thing but maybe there is a downside.

Slept 5 hours tops, down from my usual 10 hours. I blame the muscle soreness from the vaccine and the stormy weather, it made it sound like there was a burglar at my house twice when I was almost falling asleep.

I am still amazed at how much better I am now that I am supplementing in a lot of vitamin D. I mean, even my brain functions better. I think better. All my depression is gone.

I always felt like something was holding me back and this is what it was. It's awesome. I do need more/a different dosing schedule though. It keeps wearing off before it's time for the next dose.
