So about a week ago I had a crash with my bike.
First several parts of my body hurt, but that vanished quite quickly, so that I could bike home after work that day without any problems. And sometimes when bending down, like to tie my shoe laces, my left side hurt a bit. A day or two later my left knee began to swell up and hurt. That vanished about three days later. The pain in my side got worse though. If I keep still, it doesn't hurt, but when I stretch or bend or anything, it's quite painful. Not sure what's wrong there. I hope it will get better soon.

Really?

That is seriously not cool..

Will find out in a couple of weeks, that's what happens when you have fair skin in the Australian sun. I just read that 50 % of Australians with fair skin will develop skin cancer before they are 65. Pretty sobering facts indeed.

Yeah. I know the sun in Australia is certainly unforgiving. Good luck man - will be sending you some good thoughts. That truly is - really sad.

Never forget to wear a hat in Australia, for a start.

Why do people ignore me when I'm trying to help them?

My half-sister, for days now, has repeatedly made posts on FaceBook about feeling bad, feeling like crying all the time, feeling stressed etc. So I sent her a PM asking what was wrong and if she wanted to talk about it... I've been completely and utterly ignored! Even if she didn't want to talk about it she could have said thank you for the concern... Meh, it bothers me more because I actually found it difficult to contact her as it set my anxiety off, but I tried in an effort to help a little and for nothing! It's just the latest in a string of things to irritate me...
