Well I assume a straight guy wouldn't ::p:

...There, I edited that part of the post so it just applies to us ladies so there's no need to shield your sexuality anymore gentlemen xD

Sounds like you need a break from tradition/routine. That way you might feel more inclined to do something and it'll keep your mind active. Exercise is the best for this

Sorry to hear you're not feeling great. I would join you in that movie marathon if you wanted...unless it's Lord Of The Rings, then you're on your own. ::p:

Yeah, I really do. It's just that all these fluctuating emotions have been really grilling me and pretty much drained me of any motivation to get my body in gear again.

No worries. It's not that I'm not feeling great. I just wish I could make something more of this day and have actual people here to spend it with rather just with my mom. Don't get me wrong, I love my mom to death but I want someone other than the same person I see every single day of my life, ya know? And now I'm rambling again  Moving on ---> Haha I would love to have you over for a movie marathon and you would be pleased to know hat I'm not a big fan of Lord of the Rings (Sorry LOTR fans!) and spent most of the afternoon watching comedies and a horror called Black Christmas.

Not getting drunk, but I have eaten a lot. Best of all I have started work holidays for nearly a month and I'm off to Melbourne in a couple of days. Yes!

High five to eating like a pig! :D
Oh my... sounds pretty stressful, but at least you get to go on a lovely escapade in a few days! I hope you enjoy yourself Mikey. You deserve a break =)

Happy Holidays, Malice! Your Christmas doesn't sound so bad. If you lived closer, I would've had you over. :) It was just my family and I too, no one extra, and we didn't go anywhere else this year either. My Christmas was pretty good though. Most of my gifts were simple, useful things like clothes, a few items for when I move out (next month hopefully), and an awesome pair of slippers I bought myself. ::p: Seriously, they are the comfiest slippers I've ever owned. XD

Phew! Lucky you specified the ladies now...hehe.

It's okay to ramble...it's your thread! I can understand that fluctuating emotions will wear you down and you will get into gear again. You've just got to find that leveling plain amongst the hills and troughs that are your emotional landscape.

Aww, that sucks. It's too bad I don't live closer to be your friend. If you meet other people nearby you could hang with them. I'm sure your mum would love to see you out of the house and enjoying yourself. :)

Thank you! I have been hanging for this break so much. I hope Melbourne goes well!

D'aww.. you're too good to me >.< Even though you probably would have kicked me out within 10 minutes at the latest :p

I'm glad to hear your Christmas was good, and nice! Speaking of slippers, I really need to get myself a pair! My feet have been killing me lately and my fluffy socks aren't cutting it for me anymore. Would you mind telling me what brand you got?

^ :O Never! I couldn't do that, and I wouldn't ever either.

^ Yeah my fluffy socks weren't really doing it for me anymore either, hence why I got them. ::p: I have these slippers:

They're Aerie brand, Fair Isle Scuffs (why they don't call them slippers I have no idea ). Yes American Eagle/Aerie can expensive, and very rarely do I ever shop there myself because of their ridiculous prices. BUT if you're patient and check their clearances, you can find some really good deals.

I know, but I feel like I (and I'm pretty sure I do) take advantage of that a bit too much for people's sanity to take in. Totally agree with you though. Definitely working on that.

D'awww... SPW are you really real? No duh, I've only been here for more than a year e_e
You people here are just too kind to me xD
Well... here's to hoping I can meet other people nearby.

Thank you! I have been hanging for this break so much. I hope Melbourne goes well!

I'm sure it will! You'll have a blast~ :)

Aww I'm sure you wouldn't. I'm just going on a whim from what most people tend to do (or from what I imagine they would do - I can't stand myself half the time ::p:)

Those look sooooooo comfy! (Haha I was wondering that too ::p:) Ah yes, totally agree with you. I don't shop there a lot either but they do have some cute stuff in the clearance from time to time. Definitely gonna keep an eye out for these. Thanks! :)

Nearby, shmearby. Come to Australia! :D

I'm sure it will! You'll have a blast~ :)
I'd better!

Hey, welcome back (hopefully not temporarily)! Trip to Melbourne was okay. The short version is that we went to a heavy metal gig on NYE, went to Melbourne City after that (worst idea of the trip), went to a country town in sweltering heat, recorded some music finally, and just lazed around drinking and watching The Inbetweeners. There were some bad parts but overall it was good. :)

Oops.. accidentally deleted my reply <.< but yeah, no worries I'll be staying for now. Maybe... well actually I'm going to be on and off about this site from now on. You guys will probably see me lurking around every now and then but I definitely won't be on as often unfortunately since I've finally started my online courses for college and they're already proving to be quite a pain with the workload >__<

Oh? ._. I'm curious to know why going to Melbourne City was the worst idea but you don't have to retell that experience if it was that bad. Other than that, I'm glad to hear you enjoyed it (for the most part :p) and that you got a break :)

Oh, I understand. Online courses can be a real pain. My brother's doing one and his workload is quite a lot at the moment, so I can feel your pain (kind of). What courses are you doing? I assume they're interesting.

Well, after the gig, we went to the city to try to find a pub, but by this point it was 2am and there was probably a million people lining the streets of the city and all the pubs were at capacity. The guy who lives in Melbourne had a bit of a meltdown about it and another guy wouldn't stop whinging about wanting to go home, so it was all terrible from there. Two New Year's that have been ruined...I will make sure the next one won't be!

The break was good, though. Just went back to work for the first time today, actually. I could've easily taken another month, even two, off. Easily. ::p:

How have you been doing?

You're trying to hide it from us?

No >.<
It's a very important one too, and why would I try to hide this from anyone when I've already been hiding it from myself all these years? You don't have a clue what I'm talking about right now but you'll see in a bit. Once the damn thing stops glitching and posts that is..

Yepp >__< It's only my second week and I already have 2 reports to write. Gotta love college

Oh wow  Yeah crowds are inevitable on New Year's, especially when most people like to get tipsy and party that day. I'm sorry to hear that that's your second ruined New Year's. I'm sure your next one will be even better! If we're all still alive that is ::p:

Sounds like you had a pretty long break. That's great! You definitely deserved it =)

I've been... well, there's a lot to say and you'll soon see what I mean when I post my actual journal entry here. It's going to be a painfully long one with some pretty shocking stuff (maybe.. depends how you see it) in it so prepare yourself SPW!!

Haha college will do that to you.

Yeah, the next one will be better. I knew and expected a big crowd, but it still ended up worse than planned. Never mind, it's over now.

I didn't deserve it, but I needed it! I had been working a lot and I needed some time away. I got that and now it's back to crappy reality.

I look forward to reading your long post!

Yepp. Definitely not looking forward to midterms D:

Aww well I think you deserved it. Work is a lot of stress and people need a break from the rat race whenever possible.

Oh how you're going to regret those words my friend..

I bet you're not. Yikes! I'm sure you'll pull through it, though. :)

Thank you. :) Yeah, a break is always good.

Haha we'll see.
