To my understanding, which consists solely of 'random science-y trivia I've picked up over the years', it's both. Getting close enough to kiss triggers some pheromones that hit a nerve that says 'Oh yeah, time to bone!', which is generally a pleasurable thing.

Also something about swapping saliva, antibodies, and that being good for any babies. Don't hold me to that, though.

And as you might have guessed, I don't exactly have any practical experience, heh.

i never had a kissed a girl really, never really had a girl friend for that matter except two really short relationships that I hardly count... and I imagine it would be so awkward for me at first to kiss anyone : (

I hope so , i dont know if i believe in someone for everyone anymore, or least expect it. I can do karaoke in front of people and go to Coyote Ugly, but to get intimate and close with someone is really hard for me. I just turned 38 the other day, I dont know where else to look, I dont have patience for online dating. should ve been seeing a therapist all these years and well I havent. I only began about 4 years ago and did dore and neurofeedback. I went through 21 sessions of that and I did get better with some things but not everything. It seems that she maybe stopping the neurofeedback electrodes.

I don't see how you there can be such a thing as being a bad kisser, unless what you do is shove your tongue down her throat or forcefully lick her all over the face like japanese guys do in porn movies.

I kissed a girl when I was 9 but it was more than kissing it was snogging, it first happened when we were playing a kind of game, then like 8 more times. Kissing then always felt good, there was no such thing as anything going bad. I had a kind of addiction to that until the girl just started to go weird and move back when I tried to kiss her. I think now that I wasn't in love with her back then, more like addicted to her. I didn't kiss anyone like that for 13 years now, but most of all never kissed a girl because I love her...
To be honest I don't worry about becoming a bad kisser, what I worry about is how will I ever be in a situation where the next step is to kiss each other.

I've only kissed 3 people in my life and all 3 were prostitutes. But they know how to do it well...

As for me ,I can't give much advice,I never 'french' kissed a girl.
