Am I the only person on the forums without a cell phone?

I'd feel too guilty making my grandparents pay for it since I'd almost never use it lol. (I'm 16 btw and can't afford a car or time atm to work so that's why I couldn't pay the bills myself).

i have a cell phone, just convient if i need rides places from family or the very few close friends i have. I very rarely text and all that but i have had the phone for years now (before i had any anxiety problems)

I have one, but i am 21. You will find it makes things easier a lot of times. They have some good plans out there that are pre paid. No monthly plan costs, and you can just use it when you absolutely need it for a very inexpensive price.

I don't have a cell phone and I'm 22. The only reason I would get one is so that I could let my fiance know when doctors' appointments were done, and the hospital I go to has a courtesy phone for that.

I do have a cell phone, but I hardly ever use it. If your grandparents are going to get you a cellphone, they should get you a pay-you-go-phone because thats' not very expensive. It costs like 10$ for me every 3-6 months. It's good to have, just cause'. I only use it when I want someone to pick me up.

My mom and I don't have home phones we use our cells as home phones so really it's ok to have one but not the other ^^

I have a cell phone but I almost never use it since I have the house phone. However, that may change since I got my new job. (although I don't know what could possibly happen to me there that I couldn't walk home from unless my entire body was burnt from grease or something *knock on wood*)

I've only had one for the last year and I only use it a few times a month. But I think its great, whenever i have to give my phone number I give that one that way I keep my privacy and I don't have to worry about getting calls to my house and having others answer it.

I think it's actually smart not to have it, if you can get away with it...

I do need it for some of the stuff I do... Though it started like a fad really.. We could talk about most stuff RL before the cell phones..

lol computer and TV can be nice.. it would still be possible to survive without, or only in limited amounts.. sometimes it's important for work or eco projects or such though too..

Have one, it is not mine. Belongs to company. To which I have broken one, dropped another down an elevator shaft, and currently using one with scotch tape holding in the battery.

If I owned one, I'd be spending a lot of cash for two more soon.

I actually did used to have a prepaid phone, and for a few months earlier this year I had a phone with a plan that my aunt got me for Christmas. Had to deactivate it though. >.<

I'll most likely get another prepaid phone when I get a car though since it's illegal here to not have one while driving in case of accident lol.
