you realize praying in itself is the biggest load of bull ****. 90% of the stuff you pray for wont even come true so you make up an excuse for god. but when it does come true 10% of the time you give credit to god. you must be an idiot to not see that. i could say the same thing: im praying to a flying spaghetti monster and when 1/100 things i pray for comes true that proves it exists (sarcasm...but the exact same idea). So why dont u believe in the flying spaghetti monster? because it wasnt part of your external stimuli as youve developed throughout your life.

^ werd. Arguing (even debating) online is useless... people will keep their opinions/believes no matter how hard you try to convince them otherwise (this goes for all sides ;)). If that person themselves cannot change his/her own mind, much less can you ;).

I know personally that debating/arguing/blahblahblah can be fun at times, but trust me, I KNOW, that it leads to no where.

I suggest we all agree to disagree, and if someone still wants to continue to "fight", then **** them, they aren't intelligent enough to realize that it's worthless, thus not worthy of your attention ;).

I'm sure you got better things to do online - like watching porn, for instance, right? :D

Im a Christian and used to go to church alot and pray alot when i was a teenager... When i graduated from school i started to doubt and then I found out that most people find it difficult to let go the idea of God or questioning their own beliefs.. Then i dropped the whole thing and felt more realistic than many people...
I think religion should be about being in a state spiritual/mental of clarity and logic, not dictating to people rules and regulations... Im sorry to say things some of you might not like..

I believe, but not in the tradional sense that you read about in bibles and such. If you can think of a micro-organism that lives inside the body of a human, and imagine that you are one of those. You don't know that you exist inside a body, but you may get a feeling that you are part of something a lot bigger than you can imagine. Now imagine that the universe is what you would call God, and that there are many other universes out there that each made up of galaxys, stars, suns, and planets. Each and every being is part of what makes up the whole. The "Big Bang" is similar to when a mother gives birth to a child, except this child is special as it contains all of us inside it.

This pretty much sums up my beliefs regarding God.

Maybe not to the point of being completely dogmatic and following rules blindly. But I believe that there are always natural rules in this world. Like not harming others if they did not harm you... the social contract... and punishments for those who are willfully violating others... etc.

A lot of 'people rules' are made to serve a group of people, while other 'people rules' are just a reflection of natural rules that is echoed throughout all levels of life, from the lowly symbiotic relations of the smallest microbes to humans.

I think it's a misconception about the rules thing. In 'Christianity', especially Catholicism, there are many rules....but once you become a Christian you don't have to follow any rules. You want to obey God, maybe that comes off as us following rules, idk.

I think the creators of South Park explained the difference between agnosticism and atheism very well. ;)

You mean in this episode?
