How are you feeling?

feeling good and exhausted. Just got back from a great hockey session, how could hockey ever go wrong, its the greatest sport ever!! Oh yeah, it goes wrong when you get blindsided and go flying into the boards and slightly shifting two of your vertebrae out of line forcing you to quit hockey all together, leaving you wearing a halo from ages 12-13. Hmmm I guess it has its bad sides. On that note, I personally don't like him but poor Sidney Crosby. No matter who it is, I will admit he is an amazing hockey player and its really too bad what he's gone through this past year, I sure hope he returns eventually. He's too young and too good to be done, he's my age!!!!!

That's great, drummer that you do things you enjoy like that. Hockey sounds fun I need to try it sometime. There's nothing like the feeling after a long tiring day of doing something you enjoy , it's relaxing and enthralling at the same time.
That's so sad that that happened to such a young talented guy. I really hopes things will get better for him.

Yes, I really love hockey. I grew up on it, played since I was 5. Im thinking of joining a friendly but full equipment league next year. It doesn't cost much to join. I may have to join the easier level because physically Im very broken still. But I can take it! Im still good though. I was 13 when I had to quit and I was just about a year or two for trying out for Canadas Juniors but also my last season which I got injured, I kind of take the injury as a blessing. I was starting to see how serious it was getting and how serious my dad was into it. I was finding balancing school and hockey was way too difficult. Plus thats when I really started loving music. I would totally take being a whatever musician to some hot shot jock. Any day!. But hockeys still fun lol but just for that, fun! and yes you should try it sometime, can you skate at all???

That's awesome. I think you should, you have alot of experience playing it, you enjoy it, why not?!:) It seems like you made the best decision, because now your a great musician who now has the blessing of being able to express himself through music, I would trade and arm for that. Most people wouldn't be so smart to quit something they love for something they have to do, you weren't so bad after all. lol I use to roller skate all the time when I was a kid, I still do it rarely, does that count?

Hehe, it's a little different but still similar. I never really got into roller skating I guess that cuz I broke my elbowing in 2 places doing it early on, **** im an accident case! But skating is funner, gliding around, the ice is just awesome I like the sound of the carving. outdoor skating is the best! I don't know if you have that there, it's great though. We have some cool outdoor skating parks here, one they have this little creek you can go skating around, it's pretty cool, nice big trees. Then they have these huge firepits in the middle of the ice so you can warm up. Know what my dream job used to always be? Being a rink rat! I should look into that, seriously! You work alone, if not just deal with a couple people, watch hockey all day. My ice would be the best ice, not too wet so the puck sticks, ahhh I hate that! Not too hard so it tears up easy, plus wears out the skates pretty good. Yeah, that's my dream. Screw being the next Einstein or jack black(I couldn't think of anyone else), I'm being a rink rat. Great Scott! That rhymes!! Whoa I'm cutting this short, I am revealing too much!

Im doubting il ever get better.

I doubt that too. Sometimes I think these kinds of problems are just intwined into the very fabric of ones existence. Like... the colour of your hair or your height. If you have SA - thats it... its just is what it is.

Sorry Invisibleman... I really suck at making people feel better. I hope you do though.

So anyway... lets talk about me for a while.. How am I feeling?
lets see...we-ll... I often get the feeling I bug people here with my...ahem..."contribution" to the forum... like... "OH god...its him again.... *rolls eyes*... you know... just like in real life...

What else... feeling pretty paranoid, inadequate... dare I say...shy.

I went for a nice run today though so that made me feel... tired.

I think there are laws against me sleeping with someone your age. ;)
I'm 25. I can make my own decisions! Well, as long as mummy approves.

Damn, that sounds like one hell of an injury! Were you playing or watching hockey? I never really got into it but Australians don't take it as seriously as Canadians.

Im doubting il ever get better.
I have the same thoughts about myself...but I have hope for you. :)

Geez, you really do hurt yourself alot, hu?::p: I bet ice skating is awesome. I'm sure you can move faster and probably feel like your floating. That sounds nice and serene. I live in the south, so we have some, but not many and only during the winter season. I bet you can get really cold while skating, so those firepits sound awesome. Hey, if you really like it you should totally look into.
That does sound like a cool job, not working with people and being able to watch hockey for free would be cool. I would be sure to go to your rink then, Drummer. I bet you would win the award for best ice.:D Those guys are over rated anyway, now, having the best ice in the world, that is something to be proud of! :D No, you should seriously do it if you like it so much.

Hehe, getting hurts my thing. But I haven't broken a bone in a while, my finger last winter, guess doing what? Playing hockey lol. But I'm so broken as Pantera would probably say, at least my chest doesn't crack as much, baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa (like a sheep) I hate that feeling.

Well... despite the deep unresolved issues, lack of progress and my family's reluctance to accept me getting therapy. I'm strangely happy. Teetering on neutral, I suppose. Haven't taken my Kalms anxiety medication for a few days, though. Maybe that has something to do with it? Since it was making me moody and irritatable.

^ Hockey is so much fun. :) It was the only time in gym class throughout high school that I actually looked forward to because it's the only sport I'm actually god at and I had fun, and it was the only time where I wasn't teased and criticized so much. Haven't played in a year though. I'd love to play again.

Who wants to start an SPW hockey team? I'm game! :D

Edit: Wait. Are we talking about field hockey here or ice hockey? I haven't tried ice hockey yet. I've done ice skating before though. That's fun too. :)

That's incredible, Man. Keep doing whatever is making you feel better, you never know, you might be cured of this mental stress in no time.:) Once you start the therapy, I would love to hear about it.

Keep on keeping on.

If that makes any sense.:D

Need to get more sleep.

I know what your saying, Barry. I've been staying up until 6 am for the past week, and last night I completely passed out. I woke up this morning feeling like truck it me, it was pretty funny. I came down stairs at 12:30 pm disheveled and bewildered, saying , " What happened?" Everybody started laughing at me. I got a kick out of it to, so I wasn't upset. I wish someone had a camera, that picture would have been hilarious!:D...Anyway, enough rambling. You should take a nap or something then, it's worth the time if it makes you feel better.:)

Yeah, well, I've recently rediscovered my love of art. So, I'm trying to regain confidence in my creative abilities. Not sure exactly what I want to do, though. I mean, I've got ideas, it's just transferring them onto a paper which is the difficult part for me.

And I'm hoping to start therapy this month, at some point. At very least, before my birthday.

That's to great. Art is a awesome way to express yourself, once your done you should post it on here. I would like to see it. You should just let the ideas flow out of you. Don't question it, embrace it with all you got with no resistance. I know it's hard but really try at it and I'm sure you will feel alot better and have more confidence in your abilities.

I hope you stay on track with that. I should do it to.
