Sleepy but can't fall asleep :/
Great post, and I agree. Sometimes we have to take responsibility for our own actions, which I've done in the past many times.I know more people than I care to who are like this, all family members. I get being proud, we've all been too proud to admit to something at some point, but being completely oblivious to yourself?
Drives me nuts to deal with those people. Probably because I just can't wrap my head around it, because I can't NOT notice my faults. Not always a good thing, but at least I'm not oblivious.....
You're not being rude. Just polite. You're being better than most people in the world. On a separate note now I've started to think about all the times it happened... I always feel like I'm doing something unappropiate, even if I'm just wishing someone a good day. I can't help it. Am I being rude? Annoying? Ugh, everytime I think about it I feel like I should stop talking to everyone and let them have a better, peaceful life ::
Anything happen recently?
Ahhh, I can partially understand this. We didn't fall out of touch though.
On what basis did you fall out of touch with them?
I'm just wondering how something can vary so much. So you get boys who are willing to insult women on the street, and then you get... an extreme. I walked past a boy from Challener today (although, I'm guessing this boy was about 16 instead of 12/13) and he...in a way, although it was a little vulgar, made a positive comment about me.
So how can there be so much variation? Is it just that there's a cut off point for shallow? Actually, it might just be the whole group mentality. They insult as a group, but individually...they can be quite nice people.
Hating the fact that one simple thing can destroy your mood.
Yeah, probably haha. It was a different boy though. I think once they get to that age (like 16+) they grow up a bit. He said something positive about my body, which I definitely did not expect.
Are you going to see your friend this holiday?
I have to admit, the staff meeting/social gathering today at work was actually kinda fun. Even the "Getting the know you Bingo" game wasn't nearly as bad as I was imagining it would be. I'm feeling pretty good.
"Getting to know you...bingo"? Wow. Okay, that sounds incredibly lame, haha! Glad it went well for you, though.I have to admit, the staff meeting/social gathering today at work was actually kinda fun. Even the "Getting the know you Bingo" game wasn't nearly as bad as I was imagining it would be. I'm feeling pretty good.
Oh, that's terrible, Weirdy! I hope you get your money back! ::
I was the subject of fraud, as well, when over $1000 was hacked from my account via PayPal. I got it back in the end but damn, it was annoying. I seriously hope you get it back.
