I just wanted all of you to know that you are all great! I don't know where'd I'd be without the love and support from all of you. I wish I could meet you all in person, you're some of the most interesting people I've ever known and feel a connection with you. I've recently been through a bit of an ordeal, leaving my eyes wide open and just wanted to tell you all how great you are just incase I never get the chance to say it again. I wish I could just have a huge private party for us all to meet and really get to know eachother without any sort of outside pressure effecting us. Have a big art gallery for all the artists to hang up their pieces to be appreciated and respected. Have all the gamers downstairs battling away and sharing their skills. Have all the amazing cooks taking care and feeding everyone (don't hide!!! I'm a big fan of the post your food thread). Have Mikey's band come up and headline for us (other musician are openly welcome). Lol man this would be sooo much fun!!!!
I think there'd be more people leaving the party if we played.

You're welcome, mate. You're really cool, too. :)

Very happy since the Rangers are moving on to the Conference Finals :)

lol anyway, looking forward to a quiet day tomorrow at my Aunt's house with my mom. Haven't seen either of them in a while.

I had a great day. My sister graduated. We had to sit through several speakers and all of the Master's Degree recipients before they finally got to her, but it was worth it. I recorded her name being called and walking across the stage on my phone. You can hear the cheer dying from the previous person's name, a pause (as surely the announcer was looking her name up and down to figure out how to pronounce it; our last name has 11 letters and is Italian), then her name (he said it perfectly!) and then me screaming like a mad woman. I had actually got to sit closer to the stage than any of my family because I sat with my grandmother and she was in a wheelchair. My sister says she was so surprised that the guy she had never met before got her name perfectly that she didn't hear any screaming. But I like to think between me, my mom, dad, and two aunts, we had to be pretty loud. :D

We went out to dinner afterwards and it was amazing and hilarious. I often forget how much I love my family. Every single one of them is bat**** crazy, and I say that in the most lovingly way possible. We don't ever just go out to eat. We take over the entire restaurant. I think the staff was warned ahead of time, because we were put in the very back of the building in a room all to ourselves. We laughed and laughed and our waitress was so nice and she put up with all of our crap. At one point, my aunt offered to buy her a drink and have her sit down with us. My other aunt brought bubbles to blow when my sister arrived. And then the first aunt decided we should yell "Happy Birthday" instead of "Congrats!" So we did. Then I took it one step further and said "I'm so happy that your herpes has cleared up!" It all went downhill from there, but only in the way my family can do it. :D:D

^ Wow, you guys had a great time. :) Congrats to your sister!

Strangely content. Not complaining, I'm loving it. It isn't pure unadulterated happiness, but it isn't depression and anxiety and so I am relishing it. Amazing people I know have been so sweet to me lately and I am just blown away by it. I feel loved right now. It's a wonderful feeling.

Sounds like you had a wonderful night, Superfluous. I'm so happy for you!

...that feeling when your parents talk about their friends' children with admiration and you can hear the envy in their voices.
I'm sorry. I'm sure your parents love you, though. You seem very sweet to me.

I feel loved right now. It's a wonderful feeling.
It is an amazing feeling. The opposite is soul-crushing....

Yesterday I was full of confidence and joy and loving life, today I feel like a big ball of ****. PMT is the cause of both of these extremes.
I'm sorry to hear that, I hope you feel better soon.
I'm sorry to hear this, Srijita. I'm not sure what is wrong with your friend, nor if you can tell us, but even though it may seem like you can't do much, just being there for him, which you will be, will be of massive help and comfort to him.
Thanks twiggle, he was abused as a child. But he never told anyone about it, he just suffers silently. He deals with so much pain everyday and it sucks that even he's family is never there for him.

Wow! I'm starting to see that having these seizures could have been one of the greatest things to have happened to me, minus the pain and suffer but it's the complete outlook im looking at. Ever since they happened, I've had to quit smoking and drinking completely and to be honest I was really bummed out at first but now I'm starting to see the positives. After being home for a few days, I've passed the temptations test where everyone in my house both smokes and drinks but I won't even consider a puff or a sip because all I see is me breaking into a seizure after taking one sip of beer, and that's enough to turn me off from it lol. But I'm just so much more clear headed, less anxious and find myself not sitting in my room alone. Plus my lungs feel absolutely amazing!!!! I can't wait to see how much my stamina has improved once I can hop back on the bike. Plus I'm just thinking of all the money I will save, holy moly!!!!! Lots!!!!
