there is an annual contest in our community in which the residents try to guess at which time and day the ice in the bay will melt

my assistant, Hubert, has picked 1:30 pm on April 16th

Contestants have to stand on the ice at the time they have guessed and whoever finds themselves in the water wins.

dear Mr. Hoddesdon,

the process is actually much more precise - there is a bouy with a line attached to a timer in an ice shack on the shoreline. when the ice melts and begins to move, the timer is triggered, marking the exact moment

i assure you that i am not even making this up: Ice Out Contest

Dear Coyote

My boyfriend advises me that it is pure piggery to eat an entire tube of pringles. I disagree! Vehemently! I have pointed out to him that 'it is the fun that just don't stop' but he is having none of it. He says that the fun should indeed stop.:idontknow: but I can't seem to stop popping :question:

dear reader,

i would have to agree with your boyfriend on this one. i've personally never found Pringles all that appealing - they are much too dry, salty, and thin. i much prefer to sink my mouth into something sweet, plump, and juicy that doesn't come in a tube

upon doing some diligent online research, my assistant, Hubert has found a way to turn an empty Pringles container, a couple of sponges, and a latex glove into a tool for his own self-gratification. unfortunately, he doesn't seem to be able to stop popping, either.

Is Hubert's process patented??. Can you get him to reveal the instructions and construction efforts in creating this device?. Sounds very stress relieving! i could use one ASAP!!
