1st i'm not single

2nd i hate loud places

3rd i find it pointless...im not single so why should i go? meet who? friends? um..why would i want drunk friends?

i just seriously don't get the point of it..
i only have 1 close friend and she's always clubbing with her bf..

like..

i couldn't do that..even my bf isn't into that..

i feel like i'm missing something in life :(

i'm 24 now and i feel like i've wasted my youthful years closed up...

so do you guys go clubbing? what is your age range and what do YOU do on a Friday night/weekend?

I'm 24 and I've never gone clubbing. I don't feel like I'm missing out on anything. My friday night plans usually involve some variation of crying myself to sleep. That last part was kidding, most of the time anyway.

Hello Vancouver24,

SO i'm 26 and i don't go clubbing coz i neither don't see the point of it to get just wasted and what look yet worse, destroy mine liver, vomiting, headache no thanks...and also severe SA.
Ya on weekends i'm just home in flat...no sense go out if i don't feel anyway the fun what others and comfy on that places enough if i would feel differently and consider this like real fun what make happy i would like it but im not happy at all so why i have to do it coz others do it? Ya not thank u:) If i were younger i were sometimes clubbing but wasting myself wasn't never mine favorite fun coz other they i suffered like mine head was drived with track and lack of sleep coz i were dehydrated and incredible awful headache...brrr so im just home watch some movies, cook and eat good food, play games and enjoy bf. SO that's it.

Edit > oh yay yay i overlooked the age is under 25 ok so what 2 years more isn't that big deal right?:)

Yeah I go sometimes. I prefer bars because you can talk more easily though. I'm not into the whole deafening music/strobe light thing, but sometimes a club is a natural progression of the night and I do go in from time to time (but I have to be really quite drunk first). I do have to force myself to go out drinking though, because I don't usually feel like it. But then I figure I'm only 27, I should at least try to sample different things in life, especially when it comes to youth culture/nightlife.

From Houston and this is a party city. I don't club. Don't see the point. I'm single and 23 years old.
I also hate loud places especially those with loud crowds. And you're right, there's no one there I'd like to meet.

I'm 39, single, and have never been clubbing, never wanted to, and probably never will. Doesn't bother me in the slightest.

Same. Never been. Never will.
The idea terrified me when I was young. The idea of going somewhere where a guy could just come over and start talking to me put me off it completely.
...I do like guys btw, I would just have froze and not been able to talk back.::p:

Yeah same!

I dont want to. Don't really see the point for myself, wouldnt quite feel right in that environment and I dont drink.

I think the sence of something missing, might come from the media making people feel thats what all young people are supposed to be doing. When infact thats just one possible thing to do if you happen to enjoy that. So maybe some people subcosciously feel they should be because they see everyone else doing so and are told on TV thats thats what young people do haha. And why just "young" people anyway? is it because the media also programmes that when your further into your 30s you should be "settling down" and having kids? I also find that stupid. Theres no need to confrom to what the media says your you should be doing at a certain age. Do what you want and feel like at whatever age haha.

i go and believe me you're not missing much, unless being around drunk beligerent idiots is what you're looking for. the only time i have fun is if i go with a huge group of ppl and we just do our own thing. but other than that, most of the ppl at clubs are friggin retarded, straight up.

Before I had SA I went all the time. Now I go maybe once every 6 months. I'm single, 26. I don't go to pick up guys, just to have a boogie and a laugh. I'd go more often but no one to go with. I'd never go on my own. I also have to have a drink at home first or I wouldn't go.

drunk people in ridiculous clothes, showing off

and lots and lots of noise

what could be better?

I'm not the loud music/booze type of person. I get very little enjoyment out of it. Unless the music was classic and the booze was mild and very sweet, of course. x3

Even if I were single, I wouldn't go there to meet a potential mate. Not that I have anything against people whom go clubbing, I just don't see how I could really get to know/click with someone when they're intoxicated.

I do know a certain few whom are in a relationship and still go clubbing, though. They usually tell me they go for the music and booze. Whatever floats their boat, right? ::p:

I'm 26 and have never gone clubbing in my life. I also hate loud places and have no desire to try it. I don't miss not doing it. No clubbing ftw.

I've never gone clubbing, but the girl sitting behind me in math class goes every week. Instead of listening to the teacher, she prefers telling her friend about her weekly clubbing stories. Let me tell you, it sounds so lame. That girl might think she's kool, but to me she's retarded.
