"Why are you nervous?"
"You're so quiet, I forgot you were even here."

that's not just something you don't say to someone with social anxiety...that's something you just don't say to the person you claim to love. Sorry. just calling it like i see it.
there are ways to be constructively critical of your spouse...and the above examples are NOT it.
someone should read the emotional abuse handbook for marriages.
It is hard for me to imagine a relationship without emotional abuse. What does it look like? What does it sound like? Aren't they sooner or later gonna snap and show their true colors?

Teacher: "Mmmm I can't really give you a good grade cuz you never say anything in class"
Me: "But I got an A in the exam?"
Teacher: "Yeeeah, but you have to be active in the classroom otherwise I don't know what you know and can"
Me: "But my exam?"
Teacher: "Yeah you did well, bye"
.

Wow, I think the exact same thing as you razzle dazzle rose!::
I have an online friendship atm that is NOT emotionally abusive and I am still in awe of it!![]()

It takes them less energy to leave me alone, but they don't seem to realise that.
