I've been diagnosed with generalized anxiety and depression, although I've developed the social anxiety somewhere along the way.
And if your therapist helps you, keep seeing her. Trouble opening up to others and thinking others don't think much of us seems to be a common theme here. But if she really isn't helping you....
I live in a town about twice as large as yours. It's just right across the river from Philly. Honestly there are more reasons to leave NJ than to stay, though. Ontario sounds nicer than here (and cooler, too)!
And I was one of the lucky jurors excused from attending on Monday! I wish they could have spared me half a week of anxiety, though.

I'm not much of a sun person either...i have very fair skin and i burn way to easily...as for the rain its ok in controlled doses lol....prefare winter when its cold but dry

Yeh, the forrests in Canada look stunning too all those beautiful trees and massive lakes absolutely heart touching ! hehe...love taking naps too when its too hot...i'm just about to head to bed its not long till midnight here....probably only evening time in lovely Canada.

I'm doing ok thanks, a bit tired at the moment but nothing that a few hours in bed won't sort out hehe Mum is doing a lot better, she has caught another infection, but they have caught it in time so they've put her on antibiotics for another week, so she'll be bored silly for 7 more days! she seems a lot more chipper though, so that's good
We totally have to sort something out, you're coming over at the end of October right? we have to make plans now so we know what we are doing!!! xxxx

Hey Aime I'm James ohhh so lucky to have the sun out in Canada...i have family there in St Johns...i have seen loads of photos it looks a very beautiful country breath taking in fact yeh its been raining here in Glasgow this morning also a little bit windy...but its brightened up a little....probably rain later tho lol....

Hi Amie, Thank you for the comments, you're so sweet. I am with you on the whole bug and heat thing... I hate camping when the bugs are bad and the heat is so unbearable. My favorite times of the year to go camping are late May and from mid September till the snow starts to fly. As for my b-day... I didn't do anything, I just felt depressed and didn't want to do a thing.

It's bad heat, because of the very high humidity and the dew points at tropical levels! It's downright ugly! I hope you don't get it this bad. Have fun camping! Yeah, I probably could have gotten out of jury duty, but I figured I'd just suck it up and go like all the "normal" people. But there's no way I'm letting them seat me on a jury.
I've been on Buspar for about a week and a half. So right now I'm just riding the high before those chemicals in my head adjust to being adjusted. So I guess the short answer is no, it's not really helping me yet. But hopefully that will change in a week or so....
Taking meds for anything is really just a trial and error process. Some work for you, some don't; the only way to find out is to take them. But those that are supposed to help with anxiety usually make it worse before they make it better. I guess that whole changing levels of things in your brain....
As to where my lair is, I'm just east of Philadelphia and just north of Camden, New Jersey. I see you're from Ontario. And though I've been to Niagara Falls once, I can't say I'm familiar with that province....
