Well... you can always suggest an article title and it will usually get approved, unless it's an obviously crazy title (e.g: How to bully and extort money from others)... It all depends on your writing skills how much you earn really. I currently have five writing stars, the maximum possible, so I get around US$3.50 per article I write.

I've written a few hundred articles so far. Let me know if you're joining up. I can invite you over or just friend you there. Oh.. and there's about seven ways to earn money there, though the major ones are just three... Passive income, marketplace and upfront payments.

It worked quite well for them, though most of their income tend to come from directly approaching publishers. I do Helium and it pays well, though you'll need a niche and a fairly high volume to earn well.

I know I sound whiney a lot here on SPW, but that's because I have no one else to tell these things too...no one to confide in. I have no friends to sympathize with me the way you do or to give me similar advice. That said, I really appreciate your help. The only place I had to vent off after getting rejected two weeks ago was SPW (and the gym!)

I think I'm beginning to get my act together though. You need to grow a thick skin if you want to get anywhere in life. Despite the rejection, I managed to pull through very well (with a few relapses). As for friendships, that's something I'm going to have to deal with another day...I've been doing a tonne of volunteer work to get my mind off my non-existent social life, and it's been steadily working, I'm glad to say.

Anyways, you're a great person and it's nice to have you around on the forum
