  • My therapist and social transition worker have been searching for something I'm able to do but nothing really fits the criteria within this area.
I've looked for jobs. I'm continuously looking.
Not much that I can do from home and even less I can do outside of my house.
I really fear people hurting me way too much to work near people.
    Return to... that job?
Oh, no. the reason I left was that the owner started an online business and sold the restaraunt. I'm 200kms away now, so... I couldn't go back there.
I've thought about waiting tables again but it's terrifying. People can and do treat servers really terribly.
I'll be another one of those... college dropouts who is waiting tables until she's 80 years old.... boooo...
One of my favourite jobs-- also the most physically and mentally stressful.
I'd work 100+ hours/week in the summer time, 40/week during the school year and was in charge of the rest of the staff, although I was the 'baby' of the group.
At 16, commanding a fleet of 30+ year olds. haha
Oh, no-- I was head of waitstaff and catering at my second payroll job.
That's how I learned to cook, mainly.
    about... none?
    haha
even the smallest amount will cause pain and make me terribly uncomfortable.

Unlike dairy-- which I can have some of before feeling sick.
yep. Rice, potatos-- as long as there's no wheat involved, it's okay.
It usually means having everything plain though-- any flavouring out there tends to contain gluten... including soy sauce. haha
It's a sticking agent used to make things the right consistency.

No gluten in rice krispies - very little or no gluten in marshmallows; but prepackaged rice krispie treats DO contain gluten.
    Stupid, right?
Alot of processed meats contain gluten, too.
Gluten allergy. it does terrible things to me and causes alot of pain-- and gluten is in pretty much everything.
It's just rice! I'm not on survivor-- I haven't had to kill my chicken yet!

    ohhh... I'm *a* survivor?
    You silly! >D
Sorry for the delayed reply. That's a tough question! I would say, just try to be as specific as possible. Try to eliminate any phrases like "He did this" or "he did that," know what I mean? Instead of saying "He walked to the store," say something like "On the way to WalMart he contemplated the sound of his feet on the pavement." That way, you are saying something about the character without actually saying what he is doing. The reader can infer the rest.
Living at home isn't helping, and I reckon living alone won't help, either. I don't have many hobbies, but you're right. I need to keep trying.
