NOOOOOO!

Sorry for the morbidness. My sister saw a dead baby (or small) owl on her way home from work :(

It practically has X's over its eyes :(

I hate it when i order things online and the things are so little they could fit in an envelope nicely but oh no they gotta be FedEx'd! One thing was $19 and some change, the other was $7 Something and the shipping was over $12 by itself. Yay

10 days into my caffeine ban experiment. Well, I did drink some Pepsi Max on Sunday night, because I was tired after my race, and reckoned I deserved it. And later that night the anxious pattern of thoughts returned. Now I have stopped the last two days, the thoughts are there, but the edge is off them, they don't keep me awake.

Yeah, I really dislike that too. Not to mention envelope sized parcels can be delivered amongst your regular mail, you don't need to be home to accept it.

And not just for us either, for the mail men and women it must be an extra chore as well. How many time must they come back later because nobody is home on a regular work day? That must be frustrating.

These could fit easily in a business envelope. Both items together might weigh an ounce, maybe. Both would fit in the palm of your hand effortlessly BUT because of what these parts go to it apparently has to be shipped a certain way.

I just had to drive my pickup today and now the weather people are saying hail and tornadoes. Everbody hit the deck!

If you don't have something you should put it on "back order" status instead of letting me order it and charging my credit card and then sending me a whiny e-mail saying ill have to wait 4-6 weeks. Ugh! I need a secretary for this stuff! Seriously.

Please man! This is 2014! You can't say "secretary". It's "administrative assistant"! Hehe! ;-)

But I sure did like that movie "Secretary"! This got me to thinking of that one.

But I'm not in an administrative capacity so would that term still be relevant?

That would be "assisting person" then. You will be receiving a packet from HR this week with all the acceptable workplace neutral terms that we are using this year.

Lol! :p

Often I'll argue with myself about certain topics, and end up drastically changing my outlook on things because of it. Challenging your own views and arguments before you use them is a great way to not fall flat on your face later on.

A string of good things seem to be happening to me at the moment. I had one of my photos published in the local paper this morning and tonight someone asked to buy it. It makes me happy that someone would want to own a photo of mine.
