But yeah I'll take a hug any day.
Me too. I'm not too concerned about space issues. If someone wants to give me a hug I hug them. I feel weird initiating them though. But I could use more hugs in my life!

^ Hehe.My friend's girlfriend give me a big hug the other day because it's been a while since she's seen me.
It would have been awkward already.
But the fact that she's 4'11,I'm 6'3,and it was kind of sudden made it 10 times more awkward.![]()
My friend's girlfriend used to hug me a lot, too. Once she was kissing me on the cheek with my friend right there. She is quite affectionate (and hot, which makes it that much better). My friend's girlfriend give me a big hug the other day because it's been a while since she's seen me.

I don't like hugs and I let people know if I need to. Otherwise, if I'm feeling sad and need a hug I go here: The Nicest Place on the Inernet
Hugging is so damn sexy.....![]()
Hate man on man hugging and won't do it. On the two occasions when some bloke has tried, I've grabbed their wrist shook their hand with my other hand and given them a hearty slap on the shoulder.
I understand southern Europe is different, but I don't live in southern Europe (or other parts of the world). This is England. We are a mix of UK Celts, Norse and Germanics. I don't care what someone saw Jay-Z or Tony Soprano doing.
I'll give my female relatives or friends a hug and a kiss on the cheek if I haven't seen them for a few months
and then there's the other type of hug only given as a precursor to a little snog or because you're girlfriends crying (hips touching). Not your girlfriend crying then put your arm round her from beside her.
It infuriates me that someone wants to change a culture that's been going on hundreds maybe thousands of years because they saw a movie or watched too much MTV.:veryangry:
A man even placing a hand on my shoulder and you better be one scary ******-******, because I'm assuming you're trying to physically intimidate me. A very light quick tap might be because I didn't realise he was talking to me and is acceptable.

Clicked on he link. First thing I see is some creepy guy holding a sign saying it's snuggling time. Had to click away immediately. No thanks, I'll stick with the real thing. LOL.
