My back killing me..

It's fairly normal for my lower back muscle to spasm painfully when I bend over, or otherwise apply that specific muscle heavily for a few seconds, but today the entire right side is spasming. It's not the spine, I had it x-rayed, so it's not structurally dangerous. But it does hurt like crazy.

All I did was lean on my side in the chair yesterday for like 15-20 minutes. I think I'm gonna lay down and let nature do it's thing.

Firefox just informed me today that my version of the Mac operating system will no longer be supported ::(:

First I lost Google Chrome, and now Firefox. I guess Opera will be next. I can still use the old versions of the browsers, but I won't get any security or feature updates. Totally sucks. I need a new operating system (and therefore a new computer, in this case), but I literally don't have a dollar to my name.

It's a muscle spasm thing? Alot of muscle spasms are caused by magnesium deficiency. Not sure about the accuracy of that info, it worked for my mom's crazybad spasms, but worth throwing that info into the black hole of an internet

I don't know, because maybe I feel like one, because I'm 20 and never had a girlfriend, thats probably it. also I think I may look younger than I am.

Maybe you feel exactly how you're supposed to be (young). I doubt that having a girlfriend automatically makes you more of a person. In time. I hope you find someone.

Really? I'll look into that, thank you. I hope it helps with the lower back too, that's been a problem for quite some time.

^Oh man, sorry to hear that Phoenixx :(

I've had a few instances of similar news since I've graduated high school. It always gives my stomach a sudden drop feeling.
^ Yeah that's exactly the feeling.

Wow that's an insane amount for such a small school! Is the school in a dangerous area or something?
^ No, this town is not dangerous at all. Far from it. Like I said, it's really just a series of unfortunate events.

Man, things around here are getting grim. No money at all, our Internet will be off soon, and after Thursday we'll have no phone. Which means I can't try to get a job, because there will be no way for them to contact me.

Ummmm, not sure what to do now, my family and I are royally f***ed.

It's almost funny. I kind of feeling like laughing. This a joke being played on us, right? Alright, ha ha, very funny, can the joke be over?

I know how that is when stuff get tight sometimes. I just hope that your family doesn't go through more trouble and pulls right back up. I'm very sorry Opaline.

Is there any way you could obtain a cheap, very basic, pre-paid cellphone so that they can at least reach you? I'm not sure whether it's the same everywhere, but it needn't cost more then about 25- 30 bucks.

Had today my first birthday party for a decade or so. At first it seemed to be just some friends sitting together at another friends place. Then, because of the good weather, we moved it to yet another friend, who got a large patio, and met there.

At first, I was a bit... hmm... not too positive. Suddenly there were five or so additional people, of whom I didn't know they'd attend as well. Some of them I never saw before, and, to be frank, one of them I had a slight dislike to.

Well, I got some presents too. Since my feet get cold quickly, I got two pairs of superfluffy socks and slippers. Also I got a cookbook (japanese cooking, I like to cook), two pots with flowers for a window sill in my new flat that was still free, and a board game (a strategy game, where the winner of one match can basically create or modify stuff for the game played next, making the game evolve over time).

Since some of my friends and I are quite the geeks, it wasn't meant as a party, but as a board game evening. First, we played some funny card game, that didn't take too long, to warm up. Then we played a board game I bought yesterday at the Spiel (one of the worlds largets card and board game fairs). It's also a strategy game, a very funny where, people try to conquer a fantasy world with armies that are randomly combined of two parts (like, my first army were a bunch of "marauding"-"shroomies", later I got "vampiric"-"will-o-wisps" and in the end "mystic"-"barbarians", all with special rules and stuff. That was funny. The not so geeky people were scared off, so we played it with 6 of 10 people (another arrived). I didn't mind that.

After that it got kinda dark, so the hard geeky core of 5 people went to the flat of one of our small group, to make pizza and play some more games. So we made pizza, and then played "Ascension". That was fun as well, and lasted until 3 AM.

So, all in all a nice day. Good games, good presents.

Hah. I actually wasn't all that worried about it, the Internet just distracts me and feeds my escapist tendencies. I'd have to make a daily trip to the local library to get the important Internet stuff done.

Actually, we realized we can pay my brother's prepaid, which is $25 a month. So we at least will have something.
