not really a comment.. but when i was like 6 years old my dad made me call up a delivery service to order a pizza... so i did infront of him watching tv... and the guy asked what domicile i lived in... or 'place of residence' (he was asking in my native language).. anyway.. i answered with my complete address starting with the # of the house and the street... He then interrupted me to ask if there was anyone older that he could talk to...

I then gave the phone to my dad... and my dad started shouting violently at the guy on the phone... I have always been traumatized by my father's anger growing up, and this one probably led to my phone phobia

Best thread in the world

The first time i was able to speak, Mum told me "we've been trying to have you for a long time". "we've been waiting too long" ::(:

This only made any sense once I got to our website.

In a massive family, i was the only one with 50 year-old parents with no siblings. Mum had 12 siblings in the WWII. Just one died. Births have cascaded around me. It's always been subtle, but everyone during gathering could spot my weirdness. Looking all the back & white photo album history wrenches the guts with beaming smiles from the old & young. My best chance might be to meet someone with a similar background. I think I spreaded negativity from my own black hole. waiting for something to happen

My closest friend said I never have anything interesting to say, about 5 years ago. I cant remember the whole conversation but it really shocked me to hear him say that. Since then every time I talk to someone that little thought is always in the back of my mind. I never know what to say anymore so I just slowly stopped talking. I hardly talk to anyone these days. Tho when im with my family ill still talk up a storm haha.

My so called friend that I've know since grade 6 told me last year that he doesn't know why he talks to me because I'm so boring. I also haven't talked to him since December so he probably moved on to more "interesting" people.

Also, someone in school once told me that my voice sounds too retarded for me to girlfriend.

I also had a lisp up until I was 15. I obviously don't need to go into how that affected my confidence...

My friend told me the same thing. I'm sorry.

Jealousy and meanness is a horrible illness
It can be hard to be the better person when people act like that.

My ex(and the mother of my kids) told me I was gonna end up a lonely old man just after we split up, worryingly her prediction is slowly beginning to come true.

My high school principal told me I'd either wind up digging ditches or in prison. I never tried to do anything in school besides get wasted and party. He was dead wrong though. I make more money than he does now! And I told him that at my brother's graduation last year, rubbed his nose right in the facts. I also mentioned that he better not say anything like that to my younger brothers or I'd give him a fat lip.

What hurt my confidence the most was my 2nd year of high school I asked a girl out that i really had a crush on. She was a grade above me and she turned me down because she said she wouldn't be caught dead in my vehicle. She said she liked me other than that and my jeans were ripped up. She said that her dad could take us out in his Lexus tho, so I stomped off mad and upset I was so mad I left school and left black marks everywhere. I did'nt come from money and I never really cared but she obviously did. By the way, my vehicle she was so ashamed to be seen in was a near mint condition 1978 Ford 4 wheel drive pickup, metallic red with chrome everything and a 6 inch suspension lift with cherrybomb mufflers. To each his own I guess ;)
