How are you feeling?

Graeme1988

Hie yer hence from me heath!
What's wrong Graeme? I'm sorry.

What's wrong? I don't really know... I'm feeling insecure. Depressed. Ugly, etc. Fairly negative overall. Yesterday, as my sister and I were coming back home from visiting my dad's grave, I couldn't help thinking to myself: Why wasn't he more of a father to me? Why didn't he care to mention he'd meet a few famous people in his lifetime?

Very alone. The band broke up lastnight and I feel it's all my fault, why did I have to go and get myself injured??
That's awful drummer. I'm really sorry.

I'm sorry Graeme, I wish I could do something to make you feel better. Hang in there.

Oohh! I sing all the time, no one usually hears me though. ;)
My sister (who is now in India :D) told me she heard me singing more than once... but I hear her too, so we're even. We never mention it to my parents, so I guess we're both ashamed XD

I'm trying... Well, I guess it's back to watching stand-up comedy DVDs, comedy movies and cartoons. Need a good laugh, need something to cheer me up.

::(: That's unfortunate. I'm not close to my father either.

I wish I could give everyone a huge hug at times....

@graeme unfortunately, we can't choose our family. you deserved more but don't let that dictate your happiness, who you choose to be, or where you choose to go. take what you have now and build with it. i hope you feel better soon.

I was feeling pretty good this morning, but now I'm just getting worn out from listening to people already. (No, not from anyone on here at all) Mentally and emotionally it's hard living here. For me it is, especially since I deal with anxiety and depression myself. Not trying to feel sorry for myself in any way here, or make myself look like I have it incredibly bad (Which I don't. I do have my down days though). The thing is though is when you have to listen to your cousin's bipolar moments, listen to every rude thing she says whether it's about me or someone else, and watch every single one of her symptoms as she spirals out of control, it's extremely tiring. It hurts to know that I TRY to help and I can't do a thing, so all I can do is stand on the side and watch, listen, and try to avoid and ignore the best I can. Oh, and even though I experience it anyway, I also have to deal with my mother giving me long talks about how she "annoys/pisses her off" and how "she wishes she'd move out." And again, I've been trying to convince my mom to TALK to her, tell her about her issues and convince her to go get help. She told me today that "she can't talk to her." My reply was that if she wasn't going to at least try and talk to her, then to not come running to me to complain about every little thing she does that annoys her and pisses her off. It's like I'm completely caught in the middle here and I don't even know what to do or how long I can even take it.
You did the right thing by telling your mum to go talk to her, because you've got your own issues to deal with and it's never a good thing to be caught in the middle of anything. Listening to all of this, plus what your cousin is saying, is sure to wear you down and chip away at your emotions. Make sure you take care of yourself.

you guys are the best! what a great group of people here- just saying! :)
Yeah. :D

The band broke up because of you? That's a bit harsh. I'm 100% sure you don't want to be injured, so how can they blame you for it?

I did all that and he flirted right back, but then I went to pieces because there was someone else in the room. Weird. I used to be really good at it and was totally confident, but it seems to lessen all the time.

If he flirted back then that's a good sign. It suggests that he likes you. Now that he's had some signals from you that you seem to be interested, perhaps he'll make a move and ask you out. :)

Sadly, I think I have missed out somewhere. This has been going on for a number of years. We see each other , we flirt. He has hinted a few times eg asking me to cook for him, but I didn't take him on because I wasn't sure if he was being serious. He has never directly asked me out though. I did try today. I tried to hint that he could come and see my new car, after all, it was he who suggested what car would suit me, but he didn't seem to be taking me on. I don't get to try agin til Friday when I get my hair done (because he owns the hairdressers) and if I don't do something then, then I won't see him again for ages. I used to just go up to men and smile and they would ask me out or I would. I don't know what happened as that all seems to have disappeared. I think I screwed up somewhere along the line. Thanks for listening people, I have no friends to talk to about this stuff. Xx
