How are you feeling?

I'm stuck awake too.. I'm just listening to Iron Butterfly's In a gadda da vida.. All 17 mnutes of it..

I love that song. I have home improvement to thank for introducing me to that song. I think I was able to find the short version only though. I just love how trippy it sounds. It's like I'm on an imaginary acid trip when I listen to it.

My father introduced me to this song in the early-mid 90's.. Maybe earlier, but I don't recall.. I remember listening to this song on the radio early morning as a child working my parent's paper route..

Here is the full song.. Enjoy!

I could really use new music. I only have a hundred I actually like.

Is it sad that nothing in life interests me more than music? I learned the answer to the question "Could you live without music?" from basic training.. It drove me crazy for the first half then I was mad because I oddly could not remember a single song.. If I had to live without music, I would not live long as it is the only thing keeping me remotely sane.. I'll make a thread here in an hour or so, just keep and eye out for it.. :) It will be a fairly large and time consuming project, but I have nothing better to do anyway and I just hope people find something new from the old; which is why I think music now really sucks..

Personally I love older music.
It's not sad. Music is like an escape for me. It helps fuel my imagination. It inspires me to write. If music didn't exist, half of my ideas would never come to light. If you're willing to share the thousands of songs you know, that's cool. I'm into mostly hard rock and alternative. :)

Cautiously optimistic. I believe I've finally gotten my associates degree and will hopefully be admitted to a four year university. I've also gotten a new work schedule that doesn't cut my hours but does take away my shifts dealing with customers, so now I just get to be a stocker instead of a cashier/stocker.So now I've got 4 days of stocking instead of 2 days stocking and 2 days dealing with drunks pissed at me for not selling beer after 2 am (I just enforce state laws, I don't write them). Things are not looking quite as dour as they have been for the last couple of months for me.

Feeling a bit frustrated.I had an awful morning,I went to school only to find out the schedule has changed in the last minute...god damn it those school officials thinks that every student lives in the dorms near the university?I have to do a 1 hour trip to get there and I found about the schedule right when I arrived and had nowhere to go.I waited on a bench for almost 2 hours for the classes to start:mad:.

Like always.

I have no friends.
I have no joy.
I have no love.

I have no hope.

I have nothing.
Nothing but the will to fly away and never come back.
Nothing but the dream of finding something that will never be found.
Nothing but a useless paryer no one will listen.

I have nothing. I have nothing at all,

"You must lose everything in order to gain anything."
I think is time to snap out of this depression and have a fresh start.I think a problem everyone has here is that we haven't truly lost everything and we are holding to those little things we still got and we lose our freedom doing so.
Get yourself together man,are you giving up so easily? You got nothing to lose now,you have freedom.

Hey y'all!! I'm slowly getting better everyday. I'm a fast healer and think my docs are wrong about not gonna be able to play guitar for 6 weeks. My right shoulders feeling better and better everyday!! Lefty will take a little longer and I will find out Monday if it needs surgery. I'm keeping my fingers crossed and hopefully I won't need surgery. I been staying at my folks since Friday, when I got released from the hospital and damn I can't wait to go back home in a couple days. My parents r doing the usual, driving me nuts but I know its all outta love and that they're just trying to take care of me. But I can't wait to get home with my band/best friends. I know being around them will make recovery a lot easier. But yeah, still no answers on why I had 3 seizures which is still uneasy on the mind. I get to see an epilepsy doc soon but I really hope I don't have epilepsy. I just hope there'd nothing wrong with me.
