So I am the kind of guy who goes out maybe one night a month, and the rest I just stay home. I can only play so much Playstation before I just get bored. So I got it in my head that hedgehogs are the cutest things on earth. After several months of research, I got in touch with a breeder up in North Jersey and had email conversations for a few weeks. Went to his house last night and picked up my new obsession. He is the responsibility I needed in order to feel like things have to get done (school, finances, even small things like laundry and cooking/cleaning). So while I still have SA or AvPD or a combination of both, I have a new best friend. It's been a long time.

Guys, meet Quilliam. Born Sept. 28, 2010 and acquired by me on Nov. 15, 2010.

I think I've decided myself on a crow or parrot or caique of some sort. Birds can be very loving.

Hedgehogs by nature have depression or something lol they sleep pretty much constantly, except from like midnight to 5am when they wake up to eat and run on the wheel for a bit. Perfect pet for me, doesn't require too much attention, though since he's brand new to me, I woke him up like 4 times today to roam around and crawl through things. 3lefts, just the opposite lol they like digging/burrowing. And hiding. It's so cute when he gets scared and tucks himself into a ball

One thing I need to get him to stop doing is pooping in my hand. He's done it like 3 times now, but it's okay, it's like a miniature tootsie roll and just washes right off down the drain. Quick cleanup.

I have 3 dogs and dogs are awesome and i love my dogs but i think i am a cat person..
This cat is probably the most amazing thing. When im feeling low my cat still loves me!
I can come home and the cat will be waiting , wanting to play and he always sleeps in my room . He fell asleep on my chest one night. AHH man i love the cat the cutest thing that i feel has genuine unconditional love for me....
ehh idk if thats weird but i really do love the cat , i was thinking one night that he must be a gift from god.. I wanted to call him godsend , because this cat makes me feel awesome.

^ I love the way you write and what you had to say. I laid down on the floor last night with him curled up in my hand for like an hour. I was in total peace. I want to take him places, show him the world, but I probably won't lol

His quills are soft unless you make sudden movements near him, then he pops his quills straight out and makes huff&puff noises for a few seconds until he retracts them. They're pretty much completely blind, but their sense of smell is really high.

I got him a late 1st birthday present it's like a mansion compared to that solitary confinement cell in the background :'( he deserves better! Now he'll be happier.
