I don't think people's looks are related to their social phobia, really. Some people with SA also have body dysmorphia and think that they're unattractive when they're not, but many people without SA have that too. I know you said it as a nice thing and I'm sure you didn't mean any harm, but I think it's unfair to assume that people with social anxiety must have three heads or warty, green skin or something :rolleyes:

I think for a lot of people with SA, their looks aren't the problem, or are only one of many problems. I have days when I want to put a bag over my head and feel just yucky, but I've known really confident, outgoing people who've had major hangups about their appearances too. It's not my outside but my inside that I suffer the most lack of confidence over, always feeling like I'm not sociable, interesting or lively enough for people to want me around.

pretty much yeah. see a wave come, the guy with the cam would try to anticipate where i would end up on the wave and then its just sticking the cam through the wave and hoping we got the timing right :)

Haha no they haven't - but I'm cool with that as he's one of my favourite actors. :D

I watched Taxi Driver a few nights ago actually - maybe I should start impersonating him vocally to... :cool:

Thanks guys. I actually have probably only worn sunglasses 2 times in the last 3 years or so. My older brother has collected so many clothing items over time. His old room became a clothing warehouse after he left for college...since then it's had plenty of time to pile up :D
