Which of these two men look more trustworthy

I instantly thought, well neither, but if I had to choose the first one. Am I the only one? The bottom guys teeth distracted me, so my reasoning is quite shallow ::p:

I picked one too, the second guys grin is creepy. I don't think it's just his teeth, there is something sinister in his smile.

To me, Candidate #1 looks like he would screw me over while pretending to have my best interests in mind. Candidate #2 looks like he would just screw me over.

So my vote would probably just depend on what kind of mood I was in. :D

I already know who the New Zealand Prime Minister is, so I have unfair knowledge.

How has your PM acted throughout his term? In Australia there's been no news of anything sinister, so maybe pick him again. But it's up to you.

If I was forced to choose at knife-point, I would choose #2. He looks like he could do good things, but you never know.

The first one. Mainly because man #2 seems too charming. Too charming often refers to advanced self control, which in terms can lead to (in my experience) hidden aspects in personality, meaning these type of people are more difficult to read.

Man #1 on the other hand seems to be more rough around the edges. If that continues into his personality he would give up a lot of hints whenever he was up to something.

With that said, I don't really trust either one of them by the looks of it. The smiles are ingenuine. While their mouths communicate glee, their eyes reveal that that's not the case.

I can´t help wondering that most of you picked the 2n guy. To me, at the first glance rather the guy on the top seems more truthworthy. But maybe I am not right, it was just a fleeting first impression. It´s hard to judge people according to the looks.

Interesting. My thoughts were very similar. Also, the guy on the bottom has healthier looking, tanned skin, his hair is slightly thicker, and his jaw is closer to the classic heroic lantern shape. The more 'Hollywood' a politician's appearance is, the less likely I am to trust them if I don't know anything about them. It implies to me that how they look is likely a large part of why they got elected instead of how they think.

This guy is the governor of my state, and currently a presidential candidate. Note the thick, perfect hair and total lantern jaw. He's also very tall. He's also a complete sleazeball criminal with no principals whatsoever and not much in the way of competence, either.

I couldn't tell, I don't understand how someone can "look trustworthy". Or you are or not, but I don't know how to judge their trustworthiness by their looks. And of course I wouldn't vote for any of them without enough information :p
