Flushed a Ground Parrot from the heathland in Yuraygir National Park.
Stood beneath the Bundagen Littoral Rainforest canopy in awe of the massive Bloodwood and Strangler Figs towering above.
Sat in a bird hide and watched Mallee Fowls rake at the their mound like nests with large feet.

Ran the 29km Coastal Classic in the Royal National Park in Sydney along coastal cliffs and beaches. The longest and hardest run of my life.

I've run 15 Half Marathons the last 3 years, before that I hadn't been able to run for twenty years due to injury and illness.

Discovery of three new plants species.

Raised money for Breast Cancer and Depression reseatch charities.

Discovered for brief moments what true happiness feels like.

It's minor, but I made someone who had bullied back off from just looking at him. I also got one of my friends to help me defend another friend from being bullied, which he was, constantly.

That is awesome! Congratulations, brave man :)
I wish there was someone to do that for me in the past...

And just looking at him, you must have one of those "death stares" or something XD

Actually a couple of weeks ago there was a man in the train station who must must have schizophrenia or something, or maybe something drug-related or whatever (I have no idea), but it was quite obvius he had serious problems. Some people started laughing at him (not too loud, but still disrespectfully) and I managed to made them stop with only my death stare  (I didn't know that I have such thing XD).

I've finished high school.
After all, this is SPW

Ditto! I think that is a true accomplishment. Seriously, going to high school in this century is like going to an insane asylum. I literally lit fireworks the day I graduated ::p:

That's not minor at all, that's awesome! I wish I could have done that back when I was getting bullied.
Hehe... You kinda remind me of Ryuuji from Tora Dora, having the "evil eyes" and all ::p:

Wow, those are really incredible things! So do you work with or study wild birds? I once had the opportunity to feed some orphaned barn owls that we got in at the wildlife rehab center. That qualifies as one the single most terrifying things I have ever done, as well as one of the most awesome. :)

I'm actually a botanist, but I also get to see some interesting wildlife including birds when I am out in the the bush. The mallee fowl experience was volunteer work. The Ground Parrot was one day when I was out doing a vegetation survey.

I've done a fair bit of field work over the years and seen some amazing things, always something new and awe and inspiring. Plenty of highlights.

I've spotlighted for nocturnal animals and have seen Sooty and Powerful Owls, Koalas and gliding Possums. I can imagine feeding an owl would be scary, those massive talons!

Hooray! I always wonder what I would do in a situation like that. Would I really be as brave as I think/hope I would be?

Being sincere, I think I wasn't even brave. I just react like a wild animal when I feel pressed, I tend to be ruled by my own emotions, somehow. Maybe I would fail if that situation occurs again.

Making out with two guys at the same time. It is not something I talk about ever, and I am reluctant to say that here, but it was quite an experience and I probably will never do it again as it was out of character for me-I guess that is why it is so "awesome" to me, haha ::eek::
