I love sandalwood and oriental, musky scents.

My favorite perfumes are opium, coco madamoiselle and joop.

rotting leaves
hot apple cider, spiced
apples (hey, I was born in October)
balsam trees
old books
new books and booklets in new CDs
the case for my red guitar
that snowy, wintry smell
wet pavement as it just begins to rain
pine trees
salt marshes (rather eggy, but usually means I'm looking for birds)
beef stew
dogs' popcorn feet (though it's probably just pee) and ears
the stale, musty smell of my bedroom (sleep!)
soap-scented skin after taking a shower
horses
butter in a frying pan
cloves
a whiff of the mixture of cigarette and marijuana smoke at a concert (despite not smoking)
baking cookies

That reminds me that I was gonna make another batch before bed. I wonder if the butter is still too hard?
