What kinds of people are you attracted to?

I have to say, by far, goth girls are my favorite.

If I ever have another girlfriend, she has to be goth. My standards have gone way high since I started not caring about being alone and sad all the time. I won't settle for less. Well, I'd consider raver girls, hippie pothead girls, and punk chicks too lol

So what's your favorite look/style/attitude/personality in looking for love from the opposite sex?

Oddly enough I become more shallow the older I get, so I have high standards looks-wise. I don't have a specific type of girl that I go for though. When I was younger, I used to think compatibility and personality were the most important things to keep in mind when becoming involved with someone, but then I realized that I'm so eccentric and screwed up in numerous ways that I can't reasonably expect any girl to be like me or fully understand me. So I figure if we're going to get into a lot of disagreements anyway, I may as well find her very attractive on the outside, which I feel will keep me motivated to smooth things over and make it last. I realize that might well sound a bit screwed up, but that really is the thought process I go through these days.

To be honest, I'm far from picky when it comes to this.

I'm attracted to kind women, mainly. When it comes to looks, well, I'd prefer her to not be taller than me, and to not have ugly feet. I would want her to be attractive in my eyes, tho. Aside from that, not much.

I'm attracted to intelligent, mysterious, slightly arrogant men. Humour also plays an important role. I like an offensive, dry, sarcastic type of humour.

I don't put much emphasis on looks, but I like blue eyes.

I like the cute girls rather than the model kind of girls. Also, tattoos, Asperger's syndrome and christian beliefs are a great plus. Too bad only girls that are incompatible with me (but not necessarily ugly) seem to show interest

I want a girl that I can't imagine or expect.
But preferably... similar interests, although I'd really like if she didn't have social anxiety (I want to learn to be FREEE lol), not cocky, and preferably equally as obsessed with nature and getting back in touch with mankind's roots. Independent values.. insightful. And.. I really dislike vanity. Not into the really girly girls either. The more I think about this, the pickier I get lol

Simple people. In looks/style and their ways. By that I don't mean simple minded though. Not at alllll that. Also, someone who's a bit more stable than I am. A bit more laid back in their thinking. I also find that I'm not really attracted to people in large groups. Don't really know if that's an SA thing, I just like someone who does their own thing - not always attached to some niche in a group.

Hah, well I hope you find it for you! Stupid thing is that I thought I had it for a second (well more than that, but seems like a second now). But I think it was just one of those things where I made the person out to be who I wanted them to be in my mind. Now I don't know who they are. Anyway, heh, there you go SPW. You can know my most intimate thoughts and feelings.

Odd. I've recently had a similar relationship where I thought I had found it. Idealization kills all relationships, doesn't it just? But after that relationship, are you able to idealize less? I've had only a few relationships but after being put down by who I thought they could be, I have very slowly been learning to tame my habit of putting people wayy up on the pedestal. I appreciate you sharing your "most intimate thoughts and feelings" haha ::p:

Well, this is all fairly recent for me, so I'm not sure. I'll tell you in a while if I'm better off for it, hahah. Don't know right now. I'm still kinda hoping I'll be proved wrong. Like he actually is who I thought. Wishful thinking, isn't it! Ha

Beautiful girls drive me crazy... I mean girls that are beautiful on the inside... sweet, respectful, understanding girls - who also happen to be pretty good looking, although that might just be in my eyes... as long as shes beautiful to me, I don't care :D

I tend to gravitate towards people who are kind, intelligent, humorous, and who have their own eccentricities. I guess that's why I visit this site so much.

To be attracted to a woman it also helps if I find her pretty. As I've gotten older I've noticed that I see beauty more easily. She doesn't have to be absolutely gorgeous to get stuck in my mind. As long as she has all the right parts in all the right places, she's 90% there. I've also noticed that I seem to be attracted to a woman with an air of sadness about her. I guess part of me wants to find out why she's sad and try to take away her sadness.

And I've always been more attracted to the pale, goth-type girls than the ones that look like they just came in from the beach. Again, probably because I sort of associate a paler complexion with sadness and a tanned one with already being happy. I don't know why I'm not attracted to happy people like everyone else seems to be.
