I finally got around to taking a pic out my bedroom window. I've been meaning to since early last spring. I think that's a rather interesting branch:
And this is out a different window, but this is Ms. Cooper. She stops by from time to time, but I think she cares more about my mourning doves than she does about me.
Oh, and my apologies for the sun glare on the dirty, old windows.

Nice. You get a hawk to hang out outside your window. What bait do you use to make them come so close?

Bird seed. It brings doves and sparrows, which bring the accipiters.
I also call myself Tiercel, thus fooling the female hawks into approaching me.
That hawk in the picture sure looks fooled. The eyes are piercing with anger.

Excellent, just the effect I was going for. I said to myself 'now how can I make a tree look like it's scared...' :That looks slightly ominous and creepy, Mr. Peaslee. I like it.

By the way, she's a Cooper's Hawk (for those of you not in North America).
