Scott Pilgrim vs. The World - 9/10

Awesome film! I couldn't quite give it 10/10 though, even though it's the most visually stunning and original film I've seen in ages, because, to me, there was one glaring flaw to the whole thing, imo....which you might not wanna read if you haven't seen the film yet cause I don't wanna spoil it for anyone.....but I just had a really hard time believing in the relationship between Scott and Ramona. Ramona didn't even look like she cared about Scott. There was no chemistry between them. Infact there was more chemistry between Scott and Knives! I was rooting for her more than Ramona!....but because of this, the whole fighting the 7 evil ex's thing had a lot less power to it, cause I didn't really care whether he won or lost. I wasn't rooting for him to win. Which was such a shame cause this film could've been perfect.

anyway, just the one flaw in an otherwise perfect movie!

Yeah, she did seem rather "OK, whatever" about their relationship, like she didn't really care one way or the other. I suppose that did detract from it a little, but overall it was still an outstanding movie.

Last movie I watched was the 'The Village', seen it many times. I love the story of the movie and what the elders were trying to accomplish, but it's so ironic that they tried to create a good and peaceful environment through lying and manipulation. Great movie though.

9/10

Wow you guys...I just watched a movie on Netflix called "The Stoning of Soraya M." 10/10. Anyone else seen this? An amazing, powerful, DISTURBING movie about an Iranian woman who is falsely accused of cheating on her husband. I can't stop thinking about this movie! But don't watch it if blood, gore, suffering in movies overly-upsets you because it is very realistic and hard to watch at times. Not for people with a weak stomach.

Last movies I watched were:

The Hangover (2009) [8.5]

I don't have much to add to this movie, it was pretty much what I expected it to be. They party too hard, can't remember what they did, and hilarity happens. It had nice blunt humor, just the way I like it. ;3

Now I want a tiger too. :'C

Kick-ass (2010) [5.8]

The focus seemed on the wrong characters. Mindy (Hit-Girl)- and Damon Macready (Big Daddy) were far more interesting then Dave Lizewski (Kick-Ass) himself. Some comics don't look as good on the big screen, and are better left as comics. I love super hero movies, but I didn't like this one all too much. I enjoyed it non the less, but it's not something I'll be watching anytime soon again.

Iron man 2 (2010) [8.9]

The Iron Man sequel doesn't disappoint. The plot is decent, the characters were sufficiently interesting. Tony's wit was as delightful as always. Not to mention the technology display is not only epic, but in most cases believable (as science fiction). But they mustn't overdo it with the holo-screens, they didn't cross the line yet, and I hope they won't in the 3th movies. Both Iron Man 1- and 2 remain high on my favorites list.

Borat (2006) [7.5]

Borat is without a doubt the most offensive movie I've watched in a long time. And I find that enjoyable. I hate actual racism, but in terms of humor it is truly magical sometimes. I don't laugh out loud offten, but I have to admit I did several times while watching this movie. Though, some moments were face-palmingly awkward, I don't care too much for that. I dislike the ''The Office'' series for the same reason. But all in all, the movie was brilliantly constructed.

Devil 8/10. I liked it.

Case 39 6/10.
I did like the low voice mixed in with little girl's voice, though. Nicely done.
Just something missing.
