Just watching Perks of being a Wallflower

Just 20 minutes into it. I don't know the story, but at this stage it seems obvious

Charlie looks like he's gaining from his social friends, and might end up marrying Sam () Emma Watson, or someone better?

And it'd be nice if I was him. I know how I started like that.

Just a guess. I might be wrong.

Tell me

Hotel Transylvania 6.7/10
Not a bad kids movie. It had a couple of adult references that made my friends and I cackle.

House at the End of the Street 6/10
I felt like it was just trying way too hard to be what it wasn't, and subsequently became a bit of a muddled mess.

People Like Us

nice title. Could mean 2 things. 50%

No action. Don't expect thrills. Bit boring. Based on arguments. I didn't quite get the entire story. Needs another do in 10 years. I like doing that because there are always some details I never remember.

It's a bit deja vu / Matrix / Back 2 the Future for me. The dream I always wished for, to meet myself when I was 8, as I am in my thirties, and when I'm 80, to get the advice I need. No advice needed - just to see those faces is all I'd need. Sorry if I tell too much to spoil it for you, but old film of parents when the boy plays with a little girl. Dad is dead. Ma is miserable. Later in life meeting again, astonished. I feel just like the little boy here, where the adults meet (like my brothers' new partners) and I'm the socially shy and bullied boy.

It opens with a stressful office day with a confrontation where each thinks they're right, and intolerant. That's like me in interview

Django Unchained

It's...quite an excelent film, although I felt I was the only geek who understood all the spaghetti western refferences such as the hoods fromthe original 1966 Django, a guy having the winchester by his shoulder like Gianni Garko's Sartana, german dentist King Schultz being named (and having the same theme as) King, from the western Lo Chiamavano King starring german actor Klaus Kinski, Franco Nero (the original Django) having a chameo, and so forth.

Although... truth to be told, as good as Unchained is, I feel the 1966 original is still the better film.

I did liked Unchained however more than Sukiyaki Western Django.

Prozac Nation 100%

Lizzie is like me, bawling at her mum, family, which is much bigger than hers. I never get comfort when she cuddles her mum. I got into wine a lot, age 10, from my brothers' at Xmas times

A great scene at school when people walking around and towards her are blurred and faceless. I get that blandness, which is nothing to do the tablet from finger into her mouth

What she eats off the boys finger, making her relax at parties, was when my life started, and I give to others, all at school, and later. She likes Rafe.

But she gets angry with people, like I do

Rafe has a sister like that, who gets moody and pushes him away, at dinner. A bit like Raymond Babbitt of Rain Man when he's held down

I get angry with my broad family who say I am sick and need help. Rafe gets like my older brother who tells me what to do. I push away people who don't accept me, such as neurologists who keep me in hospital for 4 months. There's a big difference between physical symptoms which need solving, but my demeanour is able to deal with that by myself when the time is right. People need to ignore my epilepsy and leave the responsibility with me, giving some respect and my right to independence. Shackling me compounds my problems personally. When I know I've recovered enough to get home and carry on as normal, without judgement. Self healing comes quick.

boring and slow. Good to see the environment and the era. Best bit was when Leo appeared.

End of Watch

Best to watch if you put your time to your crossword or popcorn bucket in the cinema, or make lunch during the DVD. If you like Saving Private Ryan

You'll hear some guns go bang

Wanted. 5/10. A film about a fraternity of assasins. Spoiled by cliches, implausible action, gratutious violence.

The Hobbit - An Unexpected Journey - 8.5
- - -

It didn't feel like a Lord of the Rings movie, and I'm quite glad it didn't. While I love the Lord of the Rings trilogy, and while it holds up all the mystery and beautify of it, mood wise The Hobbit sets itself apart. Considering this is a different adventure, I really like that.

^ I thought it was pretty cool that a lot of the encounters in An Unexpected Journey were like briefly mentioned in The Fellowship of the Ring.
