I didn't. Do tell!

Oh, oops I for some reason thought the final scene was after the credits, pesky memory of mine confusing it with all the marvel movies :kickingmyself: [maybe spoilers] I just thought that scene sort of cleared up the Bruce/Alfred thing, but then again I am not big on talking so a wave is closure enough for me ::p:

The Dark Knight Rises - 7/10

[SPOILERS]
I liked it, but I just hate it when they end long running trilogies like that. The fact that after their fight, and when he later presumes Bruce is dead, Alfred and Bruce never speak to each other again really irks me. The last stand off between Batman and Bane in the crowd looked surprisingly cheap also.

I did love like how they christened Blake as the new Batman in the end. A curious choice, really, as you'd expect him to become Robin or Nightwing, but all evidence suggests that he's going to be Batman rather then anyone else (the repaired Bat Signal, the constant hints of Batman being a immortal symbol and the simple fact that he introduced the Batman costume).
[/SPOILERS]

It was a fantastic movie, I just kinda wish it would've concluded differently.

more spoilers in here!!

Who said they christened him Batman? His given name is specifically stated to be Robin. If anything he'd be the one to convince Batman out of retirement. Who that Batman would be I don't know, because I thought this was Nolan's last film. And that Bale was leaving with him.

American Beauty
8/10
It was really great, but something was missing in it. Further character development somehow. I think that I didn't like the objective stance that the camera had. I like when I know people's thoughts more, not just their actions, so it feels personal. Other than that, great movie. Lots of thinking to be done on that one. Can't figure it out completely, like life. Great last words too.

6 Bullets: 6/10 stars

Same plot every time with the Van Damme movies but they always entertain me.

The Craigslist Killer: 5.5/10 stars

It was low-budget and was kind of empty as expected. It was sort of intriguing.

Went to see Playing for Keeps today for a girl's day lunch/movie outing. It's the usual, predictable chick-flick but was pretty good. I'd give the story line a 6, but I'll bump up the overall score to a 7 for heavy doses of Gerard Butler man candy! Damn, he's a hottie! :inlove:

Argo 9/10

Wreck-it Ralph 9/10

I went into neither movie expecting much but was surprised. I am not sure what even drove me to watch a cartoon but am glad I did, I enjoyed it for sure (movie for all ages!) Argo was a good depiction of the event, and definitely had a movie quality to it, it's almost seems hard to believe that actually happened, I've seen fiction more realistic than that it seems!

The Hunger Games - 9/10

I told myself I wouldn't watch this movie until I read the book, just like I had with The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo, Eat Pray Love, Up In The Air, etc. My brother got it for his girlfriend today though as a gift and she begged me to watch it, so I caved. I loved it! Such a great, great film. I really wanted to read the books before, but after this movie, I wish I had them right now.
So I rewatched this after finally reading the book the other day.

My rating now? 8/10

Still a really great film and one of my favorites, but I do kinda wish they had more detail to it instead of just sticking to the main concept. Like, the Hunger Games portion felt like a breeze in the movie than in the book. Although that's what to expect in a movie like that. Can't spend 2+ hours just on that alone. I also wish it was a bit more violent, but that's just me.

I get so nitpicky over those particular movies after I read the books. :p I can't help it.

Men in Black 3: 3/10 stars

What happened to this series? Oh no, it went down the tubes.

The first one was absolutely fabulous and then the 2nd one was quite shaky at best. The third one fell off the map completely.

The main alien guy, I forget his name but he had this weird, annoying deep voice. I didn't like his character.

It went from interesting and cool in the first mib with witty jokes, down to a dark lull of trying too hard humor in the 3rd one.

Will Smith has had all good movies. I looked it up, and I literally liked every one of his movies b4 they made the MIB2 and now the even worse MIB3. Will, it's time to stop with this series buddy. You have no more help from co-stars.

The Campaign: 5.5/10 stars

Very weird film, haha. I wasn't quite sure what to make of it. Lots of dark humor.

Some very funny parts. Will Ferrell is down right creepy in this one. It's like a more sick version of that one Seth Rogen police guard movie.

ATM: 9/10 stars

Sometimes these cult films are shockers in how strong of a movie they really are. You can't always let ratings fool you.

Imagine you are coming out of an ATM in sub zero temps with a man in an Alaskan parka standing there watching your every move. Oh yeah, and there's nobody else around to help you and it's midnight. Scared yet?

I guess i like serial killer movies, but it's not all that common for me to love one as much as I did here.

Am I the only person to find this movie brilliant?

The killer is like at least 6'5'', a menacing character. A great serial killer movie knows how to make a great killer persona, and they did that here.

You'll find yourself rooting for these people stuck in the ATM machine. Sounds dumb, huh? It's amazing how a movie that is mostly set in one place can be so smart.

I had a good feeling about this one b4 I got it. I guess it's just my kind of movie.
