Mother's Day: 7/10 stars

The cover said it best. "Wonderfully sick." I loved the twists. The title doesn't fit how good the movie is.

Battleship: 3/10 stars

It's safe to say they sunk the battleship on this one. I'd rather play the battleship game than watch this one again. Too much fiction for me.

That's My Boy: 7.5/10 stars

That's my boy! Adam Sandler's voice is so funny in this. Lots of funny lines. It's no Happy Gilmore but it's pretty beast.

Loved the scenes with Dan Patrick and Vanilla Ice. Nice guest stars in this. Susan Sarandon and her daughter? too, I believe.

i dont know which of these two i saw last so ill rate both of them

Wreck-it Ralph: 9/10 super adorable movie, great original characters and story line. i liked that they didnt put too much emphasis on the real video game characters, but i liked the cameos. a bit cheesy at times (but it IS a kids movie sooo), but still cute and a really good movie

the Hunger Games: 3/10 i didnt even want to see it, just watched it out of curiosity to see why is such a big deal. it was an ok movie, but EXTREMELY un-original. ive seen similar plots over and over, and its basically a "nicer" version of Battle Royale with a hint of the Running Man. not impressed.

Knocked Up

I'm a huge fan of Judd Apatow's movies and television shows. Saw a bunch of his other stuff, but didn't see this one until just recently. Pretty good movie, was really cool seeing a bunch of the actors that are in his other stuff, but then again that is how all of his movies are.

The remake, yeah I really enjoyed it too
Cool.

Alex Cross - 6/10

Meh, this movie was good when it got going, but they spent too long meandering around. The guy from Lost starred as the bad guy, and he plays a pretty good bad guy.

The African Queen 8/10

I'm really not one for older movies. I don't know what my deal is with them. Having said that, I really enjoyed this. Yes, the effects were bad. Yes, I wanted to slap the characters every time they said the other one's name when addressing them. But it was fun and funny.

not actually Fiona Apple
Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street 9/10

I was not really in the mood for a musical when I started watching it, so when the first words were in song I was feeling like I wasn't going to be feeling it, but after I got into it I enjoyed it. Exactly what you would expect from a Johnny Depp/Tim Burton Movie (good!).

Another  for The African Queen here. Bogart and Hepburn and Huston, oh my! I'm puzzled, however, by your comments. Could you explain why you thought the effects were bad and why you wanted to slap the characters? You're entitled to your opinion, of course, and I'm not suggesting that you're wrong, but merely asking out of curiosity and a love of classic films. :)

Hmm I remember thinking it sucked and was trying too hard to fit the "in" stereotypes of the time, but I was young, may revisit that one

Hanna: 2/10 stars

This one just didn't do it for me. It just creeped me out for some reason. I can't explain why.

I thought it was boring, of course.

American Loser: 6/10 stars

Very odd humor in this one. Seann William Scott manages to make everything at least somewhat funny.

Get the Gringo: 6.5/10 stars

Great originality. Mexican prison movie with Mel, interesting twist for him. It's good to see him back.

One in the Chamber: 6/10 stars

Dolph Lundgren is fabulous in this. Cool action scenes throughout. Typical action movie, but it was suitable.
