Well, as I attempt to not gross everyone out here, I keep poking this injury in my thumb nail with sharp things. I don't know why, but I feel compelled to do it. Some part of me enjoys doing it. And, I'm reminded of how, no matter how much a girl has rejected me, I still can't quit. Ohhhh, I'm on a long, pain-filled road.

You're not the only one that prods painful spots. I do it, too, because it's somehow soothing. As long as the pain isn't shooting through you like a jolt of electricity, it can be relaxing in a morbid kind of way. Plus you're always aware of the pain so it's hard to leave it alone.
As for the female problems, yeah, that sucks, mate. I'm sharing that road, too, even though it's my own fault I'm on that road. Hopefully you find the freeway exit soon, my friend.

It's both of our faults that we're on this road. It ain't pretty and it doesn't look like it will get pretty any time soon. Well, I'm sure that you'll find an exit

I've done something I haven't done in a long long time...
I asked for something.
It doesn't feel good, really... I'd rather continue to say; "please don't 'get' me anything for Christmas. I don't need anything."
but I felt compelled to ask my brother for something specific since he visited last and said he'd get me a Wii; but I really don't need or want it that much...
so, I asked him for a used keyboard. A piano.
Like the one I sold years ago but cheaper - nothing fancy.
I'll get a nice KORG one day when I'm making the money to afford it.
...some day when I can actually feel inspired to want to play. Some day when I can enjoy playing... or enjoy anything, really.
I could use that.
I've been itching to play lately and computer programs aren't as satisfying as weighted (or even non weighted- I don't care!) keys.
...shhh!

My freeway exit will lead to another freeway for getting over my damn anxiety, and then the real exit will appear.

I live in a tourist destination. It's also school holidays over here at the moment so you have the whole place full to the brim with families on their Christmas vacations etc.
From now until New Years where I live is packed with people 24/7 :/
