Yeah, I have no choice but to go into "robot mode" and get it over and done with. The longer I wait the longer the dread has to build up and up.

.Well, it's not mine personally, but I've been writing on a site called 750words.com. You should check it out. I'm in the process of drafting my first novel (I'm feigning confidence with that statement), and I'm using the site to help me get out all my ideas without thinking about it too much.

! What's it about? Maybe I'll show up one day when I feel that my ideas aren't completely laughable::. Went on the site and, apparently, there's a "Wall of Shame". I don't think my self-esteem could take it if I winded up on there.

I know that it's absolutely crucial to have a safe place to spill stuff out edit free. There's time for editing later, but you have to get out the material to work with.

Oh no, you don't get put on the Wall of Shame unless you take on a monthly challenge and then don't finish it! It's completely optional to do so. And, everything you write is completely private, the site is only meant to motivate you to write every day.
As for my novel, well, I'll just say that it's a coming of age story about a girl whose mother has an emotional disorder. That's all you get for now, haha.
