Post your random thoughts/feelings etc

Can't you try to deliberately break the rules you've set out for yourself? To break habit? It could be a helpful exercise to try and identify those unconscious rules- and perhaps where they originated.

Seems like I'm not the only one to think that. I guess there's not much we can do except hope she's alright.

Also: mod forum? I bet it's a place where you swap SPW stories, isn't it? "Did you see Mikey's post today? What a weiner!" :giggle:

Nah it's nothing like that, it mainly consists of reported posts and is much more work orientated than gossip. It's not a social club like some believe

I just don't know anymore... I feel so weak and tired so frequently... The past couple of weeks have been bad with exercise... I stopped doing my evening workout through sheer lack of energy, and I keep missing my daytime workouts too - Monday I did only one workout and I didn't exercise at all yesterday.

I'm also fed-up with feeling low so often. I've started taking iron supplements again to see if things improve, since I know I do not get enough iron in my diet - actually, I probably don't get enough of anything...

And my agoraphobia is a pain - I'm sick of panicking when I try to go for a walk.

I'd just like to feel motivated to want to do something for a change, instead of having to force myself to do everything...

"That looks depressing."

Why am I attracted to the things that are depressing? Clearly this is not helping....

You say you don't get enough of anything. I do recall you saying you don't eat very much, and that's why you're being lackadaisical with exercise - you just don't have the physical energy for it. Not exercising means you sit around, which means your mind is idling by, and that's bad for depression and the negative thoughts to come back into your mind.

Seriously, eat more. I would even suggest doubling your intake. Healthy foods, though! I guarantee you'll have the energy to work out, and that'll give you energy for other things, as well.

^^^ I have increased my intake since I mentioned that - though I'm back down to "diet" levels at the moment (not that it's working... ), if I doubled my intake I'd be eating slightly over recommended amounts lol. I will point out though, I do generally struggle through with my workouts. It's just been the past couple of weeks (though even then, I still have had more exercise than many people get in a month lol). But thank you.

Okay, maybe doubling your intake was a slight exaggeration, but perhaps what you're eating plus another half would be ideal.

Maybe you're exercising too much? You're giving yourself enough rest? Are you sleeping enough at night? Sleep ensures muscle recovery and repair...although I think you would've already known that.

^^ Of course I'm exercising too much! That's what I do... lol (I become obsessed, really - it's connected to the ED I developed, I know, but still). But I do get enough rest and sleep.

I'm sure things will improve when my iron levels go back up.

You need rest days so you're muscles are not overworked. That could be another reason why you're not exercising recently. The iron levels will help you somewhat, though.
