Talk about confidence!... So I was returning home with a taxi last night and a well dressed nice looking young couple were siting beside me.
I suddenly realize an onion odor in the car and so do the taxi driver and the old man sitting in the front haha!
They mumble that there's a weird smell in the car and the driver pulls down the windows, so the the guy sitting besides me asks the driver to close all of the windows since the weather is cold.
The taxi driver agrees but grumbles that there's a weird smell in the car so hell keep his own window a bit open and then the guy jokingly says "Oh really? it wasn't me mr.Driver, I didn't do it!" and then all of the people in the taxi burst into laughter! So the taxi driver tells him no it's not that kind of smell! and I grumble yeah it's an onion smell! So the guy relaxingly replies "oh onion?! yeah we've just come back from a restaurant and I had raw onion in my food!" I tell him so it was you after all then! And then the whole taxi bursts into laughter again! and the guy says that yeah it was me but at least it's not that kind of smell!... I think I would have literally died of embarrassment if I were instead of that guy lol... I wish I had his confidence!

Haha! yeah I know what you mean! Though I'm glad I'm not in place of his gf/spouse or whatever ... the guy had no qualms about eating raw onion on a dinner night out!:no:
Tonight I'm going to record audiobooks for the blind and dyslexic. It sounds really cool and I love volunteering, so I'm excited 🙂
That is cool. It is nice to hear that you are feeling good about doing something positive... Let us know how it goes. You must have a nice reading voice if you are doing that.

My $150 roller skates are coming soon. I will be refereeing a bunch of tough women playing roller derby as soon as I am trained...this might take a while, because I need a lot of practice..... EEEP!
Kia, I don't have what I'd call a good voice for voicework (I sound really young, haha), but they invite any kind of voice. It's a nonprofit group and they don't look for professionals as far as I know.
It was a cool experience. About two hours reading The Magician's Nephew of The Chronicles of Narnia. I did cringe when I had to listen to myself reading aloud though 🤭
Also, unrelated, been talking to someone, seeing how it goes. He goes to a college nearby and we may hang out sometime. He's cool but he's intelligent too, and cute. He called me a "catch" 🤭 haha. But we'll see, we'll seeeee...
