Could you tell me what model of camera you used to take this picture? I've been wanting to get serious about photography for a while now but I lack a good camera. Your camera's quality is simply amazing.

Yeh still well pleased with it, it's a sony a700. But tbh just need a dslr really any of the big guns'll give this quality as it's often down to the interchangeable lenses, for example i was using a prime (fixed, no zoom) wide aperture lens so the area in focus can be very narrow and gives quite a soft transition from in focus to out, makes it dreamy looking.
The big difference between sony and canikon is sony has a sensor that moves with the wobble of your hands giving a sharper picture at slower exposures whereas canikon implement it into the lens, often making the lenses more expensive but is arguably a better way of doing it. Other than that they're pretty identical.
They all have their entry level range or you could go second hand and get something mid, it's a scary place. Most people say go into a shop and try them out but that doesn't really work with us peeps so you got any fam/friends with one? Can be a help but actually unless they have a collection from different manufacs that's probs gonna be biased anyway.

yeah i do, but when you go to insert an image you can only enter a URL for a picture. im not sure how to insert images from my computer (im dumb like that)

You first need to upload your picture on a Web site like Photobucket. You go there, you create an account (which you can make private so no one else can see your pictures), upload your picture and once it's uploaded, you'll see all kinds of links under it. You can copy/paste the IMG link here or choose the longer method which is to copy/paste the URL link in the "Insert Image" thing.
