Bono wrote this song after he was sent an old video of his mother from a distant relative. On the tape, she's wearing a lemon yellow dress, which is why it's called Lemon.

She collapsed and died at the funeral for her father, Bono's grandad, when he was just 14. If you pay attention to the lyrics, it's actually heart breaking.

That is very interesting. I always wondered what this song was about.

Zooropa is actually my favorite U2 album.
