i've been addicted to this one since I heard it last year. supposedly about his strained relationship with his father and the effects has had on him. I see some possible hints at a difficult childhood, difficult relationships. the consequences of his actions, maybe some guilt or fears over how life has turned out or how he has affected other people.

its also quite an epic piece of music with some great work combining guitars and vocals in harmony and a nice infectious solo.

This reminds me of Interview with the Vampire...If I ever win the lottery jackpot im going to buy a gothic mansion and play this song on repeat whenever I have people over...and i'll have creepy paintings from the renaissance era and candles lit everywhere..

and people will be like "wow that guy is weird as ****" but it wont matter because i'll be rich.

I really liked Stabbing Westward. They were one of those bands that rose out of the mid-90's post grunge era, but sort of faded away amidst the popularity of the early 2000's phase of pop-punk and nu-metal.

My favorite SW songs were "What Do I have To Do?", "The Thing I Hate", and the fantastic ode to obsession, "Shame."
