I'm so glad I wasn't that drugged when I had mine removed. :
: But the pain was unbearable, ugh... And the swelling was awful too. Mine lasted 6 months

^ Yeah it definitely wasn't fun. Everyone's different with it though, and I highly doubt your swelling will last six months. Basically the only reason why mine did is because they had to file part of my jaw just to extract my bottom wisdom tooth. It was pretty wedged underneath my teeth and it was way in the back, so I ended up with a stitch too. BUT, your mouth probably isn't as small as mine, so I'm sure you won't have that problem. Lucky me, I only had two wisdom teeth. My top ones never grew in, and never will. :
