LOL, what did you expect? This is a forum for insane people, depressed people, people who have no confidence and no life, people who feel very lonely, people who are ashamed of themselves one way or another... Lots of people are virgins here... it's not surprising.
This makes me upset, but I'm not sure how to put it into words.
You should be happy, you're one of the lucky few here that was blessed with a love life. 😕
Yes, I know first hand that people with problems can find an amazing person who loves them with all their hearts. Maybe that's why those kinds of comments make me upset.
Emily, I'm sorry that I made you upset. It was just a random exaggerated way to say that it's not surprising that the majority of the members seem to be single. I would be surprised if it were otherwise.

You didn't make me upset, just statements/attitudes like the one you stated I guess. I can understand that maybe people with SA, OCD, etc. don't meet as many people because of their condition....but IMO those things themselves won't keep them from finding a good person that loves them. IDK, I try to stay optimistic about life, love, etc. 🙂
I've wanted a girlfriend ever since I was 10.... I've never had a girl friend, and dang it I am a good person, I deserve one at least one before I die an old man...

I'm single and there's little hope for me.
Apparently I'm looking (I'm waiting is more precisely, cause I'm doing nothing actually), but it seems I really don't want anything to find.
Maybe that's the wrong approach. Perhaps one must learn to like another, in order to learn to like oneself. Just food for thought.
But the others are not exactly like us. If you focus too much on the others, then you might start to wish you were like them... And that is not good, because we aren't all the same, and each of us is unique. Also, if you think your value must depend on someone else, then you might end up wanting that person to love you. That usually leads to unhealthy and obsessive relationships, where people obsess over someone who can't love them back. Just food for thought, again. 🙂
